Oh my gosh! Thanks for sharing. I thought I was the only one. I love my fiancé but here are some complaints I have to hear.

Hunnnnn...why you don't pay a lawyer to process papers to go faster.

Hunnnnn...you need to call immigration every day so they know you think this is important.

Hunnnn...you need to find out what is wrong. Maybe there is problem with our documents.

Day 140...NOA2 where are you?!?!

Day 126 for us. Its hard on us all. They dont understand how our goverment works. I try explain to mine that it like there paper work there for things it all takes times. I told her a lawyer was way to much. That our case was not hard just some basic questions. My brother in law years ago cam from Central America then used a lawyer because he was not legal. So best way i could explain was my sister and him need help to get him legal. Unlike us we are dking it legal from the start. A lawyer can make sure no mistakes or help if something crazy going on. No matter what way we go still waiting for goverment.

I am going to tell you that isn't correct. The trick to talking to a tier 2 officer is asking a question that a tier 1 can't answer. If you get to 140 days and you want to know you simply have to asking the tier 1 officer if the Background Check and Name Check have been completed yet. Tier 2 can answer that, tier 1 can only look at the same website we all use.

So if you really want to be able to easily get past the tier 1 officer you just have to ask the right question.

Fair enough Ta for the information I'll try it at around 140 days. I was only supplying factual information as to what was told to us directly so everyone knows, the trouble is as I said there are no facts or actual information on contacting USCIS or what order they go about processing applications.

Let's hope Cali put their foot down on processing 🙏

Awww! That's so sweet. My fiance has yet to learn Dutch beyond the couple words and phrases that I utter/write every now and then. He did score points by proposing with "wil je met me trouwen?", which he'd practiced with Google translate

Ah, your fiance and I live pretty close to each other then! Will be keeping an eye on your profile/timeline.

Re the Amsterdam consulate, good to know! Win for us I guess :)

Yeah!!! They granted her a B2 purely for the purpose of visiting me during our wait! She visited my just recently for 3 weeks during hurricane IRMA haha bad luck but it delayed her flight and let me spend an extra day with her! Yea!! I am glad I learned it! It took me 3 1/2 months to be fluent, I've been speaking it for 9 months now and it's great because I can communicate with all her friends and family as easy as I do with mine in English! So that's something I am very grateful for!!! How did you meet your lekkerding? :) Cheers!

Some reason it was cheaper out of cebu. I also found eva air, korean air, and Philippines air to be alot cheaper. They are nice airlines. I flew Eva Air and had not issues. Just as nice as delta. Free movies and they keep you feed. Wifi for my flight was 15 or 20 dollars. Well worth a 18 hr flight lol. I drove from kentucky to Chicago to save 500 to fly out.

yeah I just checked my ioS App and it say WAC1790312151 was approved today 9/18 but received date is still April.

So per the Apps and per the USCIS case tracker we still have no approved cases for received date in May other than the one oddball case that was approved a month ago.

Oh well. At least April is still clearing out.

There are now a total of 3 approvals on VJ for today 9/18

Averaging 5 per day so need at least 2 more to keep that trend.

I am confused. Aren t there others who have applied and are not on VJ? Pardon my ignorance. I am slow when it comes to numbers.

Just found out the USCIS is backed up due to DACA, Residency and Citizenship issues. Many feel the pressure to adjust, correct or finalize their applications. I-129F visas are not a priority next to Legal Residency  and Citizenship applications. I can say that many immigrants are panicking because of Trump's sudden Executive orders. Although his orders don t always take affect, they cause a scare and some major confusion amongst the Officers themselves. In conclusion, I advise everyone to be patient and pray for miracles here.

Congratulations to the Few and Best of Luck to the rest.

The most I've ever paid for Chicago to Manila roundtrip was $525.  I've made 4 trips so far this year.  I'm going back in December.  I've flown Asiana, JAL, and United.  I get my tickets through Expedia and have never had a single problem.

Where did you hear that?

The ending of DACA was announced a couple of weeks ago and USCIS will be adjudicated applications until a certain date. In that period we haven't seen any major slowdowns as the majority of April is complete.

If reliable, an immigration lawyer who happened to be a retired USCIS officer. You think he is a reliable source? I guess he is as claims to maintain contact with colleagues in the field.
