I use to think that…now I think its completely random and depends on the officer reviewing your case.

I'm from Canada (low fraud country) and both my fiancé and I have security clearances through the US and Canadian Gov't plus we're both part of the trusted travellers program between the two countries…..and we're approaching day 150...

Hoping this week brings good news for all of us!

There are certain countries where it can take a while longer such as IRAN, Pakistan and Nigeria.

Not sure if still the case but Haiti used to get approved super fast. I believe it had something to do with the devistating earthquake there years ago and the US wanting to help get as many out as possible but

generally as you say the country makes know difference and no difference if lawyer used either.

I am at day 139 with my Fiance from NL at the CSC.. 11 days then we can request for expidite?

at 150 days CSC can be called and try to reach Tier 2 and they MIGHT be helpful.

Expedite is totally different and can be requested at anytime although not likely to do you any good at this point as you are so near approval.

30 days or less more to go.

Day 143 :(

I was hoping a good day for late april today.. But I saw only a couple approvals for apr 23 :(

getting depressed and frustrated!

Where did you see April 23rd approvals? I see nothing here on VJ and Igor's list.

Again April 23rd is a Sunday so can't see many cases with a SUNDAY NOA 1.
