According to the charts, they are working on the final days of April filers, April 28th it seems. They should be hitting us May filers soon. Average approval time between Noa 1 and Noa 2 seems to be about 140-150 days. Once we receive the Noa 2 things move a lot faster. This is the longest process between Noa1 and Noa2. Keep the faith my VJ friends!

128 days. From here time frame140-150 days looks like a long-long wait.... Will we finally reach the end of this tunnel???

The official answer given by the Tier 2 was that they are only working on February cases and who am I to state otherwise. Once they publish the (overdue) quarterly stats (https://www.uscis.gov/tools/reports-studies/immigration-forms-data/data-set-all-uscis-application-and-petition-form-types) we might see what the holdup was/is. That being said, data from VJ shows the following:

NOA-1 Total #NOA-2 %NOA-2
2017-09 39 0 0%
2017-08 165 0 0%
2017-07 222 1 0%
2017-06 283 2 0%
2017-05 354 3 0%
2017-04 374 179 47%
2017-03 416 312 75%
2017-02 350 281 80%
2017-01 439 323 73%

2016-12 301 251 83%
2016-11 331 269 81%
2016-10 232 201 86%
2016-09 245 213 86%
2016-08 266 231 86%
2016-07 290 225 77%
2016-06 332 275 82%
2016-05 354 284 80%
2016-04 428 359 83%
2016-03 470 369 78%
2016-02 424 356 83%
2016-01 317 270 85%

All those numbers from the link are scary... I think from now on ima jst stay in my corner pray and try to stay positive. Its hard to stay far away from one's love but one day soon we will all be happily married to our beloved ones. Patience... Not like we have much choice right? Hihih

I doubt you'll be waiting another 85 days… USCIS seems to be giving that line out because they probably don't know the exact timeframe. They seem to be super backlogged since March and playing major catch-up...

150 days seems to be the new normal. If you ever hit the 6 month mark contact your Senator!

150 days still forever but if true then most of us are almost there.

Still seems like forever but its not. I am sure it be soon. Can they get there police check before NOA 2 or do we need to wait? Also i was told on facebook group it be about 30 days after NOA 2

You mean police clearance? Police clearances have expiry date. It will not be wise to get it while waiting for NOA2.

I was told the nbi? was good for a year, and the the us embassy wanted them less than 6 months old

If ur fiance has lived in another country for over 6 months in the past 5 years, they need a police clearance from that country also

I saw ur fiance is from the Philippines, she also needs to do a class for filipinos moving overseas, or they wont b let out of the country

I wonder if they need to be less then 6 months? She has her already. The CFO is a one day class and you sign up for it in manila or cebu. I was confused on NBI i heard it both ways

Yes I thought they was good for 1 year like someone else said

If you mean the NBI, yes it is valid for 1 year. But if you are talking about a regular police clearance, then that has a different expiry date.

I think it was my lawyer that said the US likes them 6 months or newer

My fiance got her nbi last week, is doing the cfo in 2 weeks, and is going next week to get her police clearance from Taiwan next week (takes 4-6 weeks)
