One thing I can assure you is that Rapid Visa has nothing to do with it.

All K1 visa applications are now being processed in California Service Center since March 2015.

Try to ask what is the first 3 letters of their NOA1 receipt #. It will tell you which SC handles their case. If he tells you WAC, then that is not Vermont. That is in California Service Center.

I am surprised about his 'progress' without any expediting done.

Makes 3 of us. I thought vermont was doing them again. We was hoping to have a better idea by now but not going to happen

i was trying to upload my NOA2 here so you can see but the file is too large it won't upload. 😕

It was last year and it is blank. It will be interesting to see what is on my next NOA 2 or if the Alien number is filled in.

I have a friend who was just recently approved (an April filer) and she has an alien number on her Noa2 and I have it on mine too. My Noa2 was dated October 21, 2016 tho. 

 

Alien number is right on top of the beneficiary's name. Starts with A followed by 9 digits. I am looking at mine right now. 

Yep, I'm an April filer that got approved in August, and my Alien Number was there in the NOA2. Also I've seen people saying the Alien Number was there too when they got a RFE before being approved :)

Yep. That's why I got so confused why there would be NOA2s without any alien number.

#######! This whole  waiting thing is exhausting for the nerves... I don't even find comfort in vj anymore :'( 

:(.. Seems like everything is messep up at USCIS.. Maybe they just pick up cases randomly... I used to think there were an order now well Im thinking its lottery

I'm going to start calling USCIS next week and if I get no where I'll submit a congressional inquiry - those seem to help!

 Day 137 here...was also thinking about calling next week...how do one submit a congressional inquiry?
