I'm looking at a NOA 2 and it only has the WAC number on it.

I thought the A number or Alien number was assigned when doing a DS-160 well it starts out "AA XXXX"

As you say I guess it doesn't really matter if not needed until AOS

Hmm. Interesting that you don't have it in your NOA2.

I have a friend who was just recently approved (an April filer) and she has an alien number on her Noa2 and I have it on mine too. My Noa2 was dated October 21, 2016 tho.

Alien number is right on top of the beneficiary's name. Starts with A followed by 9 digits. I am looking at mine right now.

May is really not looking good right now.

There are over 90 unapproved VJ members with April 18th to April 30th who still have not received their NOA 2.

Yesterday 9/14 there were 4 approved cases for April filers.

CSC is averaging about 5 VJ member approvals per day.

Just to clear out the last half of April at 5 per day it will take 18 WORK days

Plus there are many April filers prior to the 18th who have not received NOA 2.

Something needs to change as CSC or they will be looking at 12 month approvals for filers next year.

Hopefully we get some action for today but so far the app has been church mouse quiet.

Wow so for may it could be about 2 months for us in the middle.

Thanks I appreciate that... just had a very long hard work week and then to add this to the frustration in addition to the financial obligations to this process it just had me a little down. My fiancé is from The Gambia and I know that I will need to be at the interview for an additional visit and to show support because Dakar is a hard Embassy....... just got a bit frustrating. Thank you !!!

Not to mention add all this to Regular Life and bam, a bad moment !!!

I have an NOA 2 from an I-129F in my hand from a prior K-1 and there is no Alien number on it.

Revision number is 7/11/2014. there is actually a spot for the alien number but it is blank.

So I been thinking is it possible the files get split u0 and some workers are slower then others?

When was your previous petition filed? Because I just had mine last year and in every page that i am a member of, whenever they ask where then can find the Alien # when filing for AOS (as it is a requirement for that), we always say it is in their NOA2 right above their name.

IDK why your NOA2 is like that tho.

i was trying to upload my NOA2 here so you can see but the file is too large it won't upload. 😕

Here's my NOA2, sorry I had to conceal the last 6 digits of my Alien # because that info is confidential and should not be shared with anyone since it would be included in the alien's greencard.

Ok so a friend of mine just showed me papers where he filed back first week of June for NOA1 and today he is holding a NOA2. He flew back 2 weeks after me and filed 2 weeks later. How the hell they get a NOA2 already? Does rapid visa really soeed it up? Does it mean we are not going to get approved? Sorry just venting it should not be taking this long when a year ago people had a visa in 4 months. Sorry for the rant just pissed.

He may have had their case expedited. Is he in the military and on active duty or will be deployed soon? There are criterias that has to be met in order to have the case expedited, BUT DEFINITELY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING WITH RAPIDVISA.

Rapid Visa and/or immigration lawyers do not have any power to expedite cases and have the papers processed faster than others.
