Yea..let's hope so

wanted to get married on January 4 but I doubt it :(

You have plenty of time. Even if you got approved November 1st you still have nearly 2 months to get medical and have your interview.

Federal Income tax break for married couple if you marry on or prior to 12/31/2017 so try to get married before year is over.

I'm May 3rd NOA as well and expecting middle of October approval. Anything before that would be icing on the cake. BONUS.

Hi there! Have you checked your status on the USCIS page? Has your petition been "touched" since NOA1?

I'm an August filer, but I'm really curious about the whole process. Since April 27 got approved the other day, I thought maybe they started working on some May petitions already.

And good luck! I hope you'll be one of the next approvals! :)

I've done this process before and I have never seen TOUCHED anywhere on the USCIS website page. Do you see that? Can you send a screen shot if you do?

May will likely start getting worked later next week.

Today there have been ZERO approvals for any VJ members. 9/12 also had ZERO approvals.

Still have a few hours left in the work day at CSC though.

Thank you! I wish we could

but the problem is that to schedule the interview gonna be really hard in Moscow cause this is the only embassy for the whole country right now :( and we would have to wait prolly for a while just to schedule the interview

May 15th filer here...122 days....and our timeline has been pushed back again to October 1st to the 6th. Then I hear there are April filers at nearly 150 days with no NOA2. I am usually very positive but this is getting frustrating. I pay more in taxes than I like to admit, but my tax dollars do not appear to be funding the USCIS. Sorry guys, just venting...My poor little pina princess in Manila is starting to get impatient too. Okay, chin up, chest out...it will come...and I know the timeline is not official, but hate to see it move back. When we started, it was early August for NOA2. Okay, thanks for listening HEE HEE.

Let it out..:crying:

haha...we feel you.

Yup tax dollars don't fund the I-129F's it's our petition payments that do it.

:( my received date is apr 28 and notice date may 1st.

I'm just too tired and frustrated to relax lol day 139 today, I was ok til day 120, now it's been only torture. We'll see, I've seen approvals for apr 24-26 this week, so maybe next week I will be lucky. 🍀

Yup there was even a April 27th approval that snuck in and thankfully only 28 days in April so no need to wait on 29,30,31st..hehe

Hi May filers,

Day 140 here. Date received 27th of April. NOA1 - 1st of May.

We called twice CSC and submitted yesterday an e-enquiry but I am not sure we will get some reply

I hope soon they will start working on our cases

you WILL get a reply..  but it might just be something useless like.. we haven't  worked on your case yet, please keep waiting..

I've been reading about inquiries on old threats and that is what most people got as an answer..

Live, love, laugh.. and try not to think too much about USCIS

New to this forum and so glad I found it! Application Received May 2nd, NOA1 May 8th.

Happy to be at the home stretch-- the wait has been challenging for both of us but we understand everything worthwhile takes time :)

His birthday is in 2 weeks and the NOA2 would be a great gift for both of us to share!! lol.

Either way, we are happy to have found each other and will continue waiting patiently for the process to be complete.

Will post an update when I have one!

Dear Forum Members..

I have a question... have you ever known anyone who has done the K1 visa being on a same-sex relationship? I am a little worried that we may face any additional challenge.

Will I be able to be present during the interview and the consulate if the NOA2 arrives at some point in this life? Thanks in advance for your answers..

Well I haven't heard of any couple for k1, but I know a guy in Brazil that got married to an american guy and is in the process for adjustment of status, so I guess you shouldn't have a problem with that.
