They should just approve all May filers today and start June's now so they can get back on track!

Wish they really cared so much about getting back on track. I feel terrible for the few couples from February and March who are still waiting...!! How long until Cali starts working? 😩

Cali and working in same sentence?

Just kidding.  They were at 3.5 months before all fiance visas went to them!  That should be their goal.  I'm sure the 90 day fiance show didn't help and just caused a lot more people to want to do it (some likely just to try and get on show).

I'm starting to feel like we're vultures, watching what time they open, when they close, how many got approved, etc. ;)

I just called the USCIS customer service line and asked about info regarding my background check or name check in the hopes of reaching a tier 2 officer. The agent told me nobody can see this information and nobody can talk to anyone at the California service center either. Am I missing something so I can find out if my case will approve soon? NOA1 May 10 pending 153 days

Hello,

1st off, as a June 6th K1 filer I feel your all of your pain.  I have watched the timeline drag daily as all of you, and my heart sinks with every additional day.

Funny observation, maybe cynical.  I paid the fee with a paper check, & the day they received my application is they day they electronically removed the payment form my checking account.  Same day.  And now I wait 150 plus days for processing?

If they processed applications as fast as they processed my payment we'd all be married now!

Patience  will be your best friend through this process. I am in early June filer as well and the frustration can definitely take a toll on your daily life and even sometimes on your relationship. Hang in there!

Good Luck!!!

That's how I feel!  We pay $500+ and they pay someone maybe $100-$200 to process.  If I'm a business making $300-$400+ profit each case, I'd hire enough people to cover double the cases being approved right now.  No more than a week to wait.  Hopefully same day or within two.  There's only more and more coming in.

Yes I totally have this feeling too.

What makes time drag more is that my husband to be left on Monday 2nd October  to go home (he was here on a 2 week visit with me in the UK) and now I'm wanting to get to the US and be with him sooner because I'm missing him

My fiance is in the UK also!

I'm getting anxious and checking this site every few minutes! Lol received date May 11th, I just put a deposit down on my dream dress. My fiance and I are going to have a beach wedding and have our small reception in a beach house. I can't book these things until we get that approval so I'm getting very anxious!! Fingers crossed we'll see more movement soon. I can't believe they're finally into the may cases!!! Geee!! 😄😄

I know I'm paranoid too, but if we wait until the approval we may not be able to get the dates or beach house we want. So we're just playing it by ear and taking it one step at a time. We plan on taking our time once we get the approval to make sure we can set everything up the way we want.

This is why I don't get the "request for intent to marry" stuff. We can't give them much if we can't book anything "/ hopefully they understand that.
