Aww, no thanks is needed. I just hate to see people hurt and despair. This process is clearly not for the faint hearted but I think that all of these emotions are coming from a place that none of us have a control of this situation.

Truthfully, the rate things are coming, doing the spousal visa would have been the rest sometimes when I think about it. It cost a how lot less, you get all your AOS paperwork upfront and for this now to become a 7-9 month process, an extra few months probably wouldn't have made much of a difference, especially since I got every 2-3 months to go see my fiancé. But the "should of, could of, would of" is a waste to think about.

You spoke my mind exactly!! USCIS received our case on May 30th. Based on people who have filed as recently as last year I was expecting to hear back within 3-4 months tops. We filed K-1 because we thought it would be the fastest way to be together, and we would still have have time to plan a wedding. Had I known how long we would be waiting, we would have done spouse visa for all the reasons you mentioned. Oh well, the wait continues.

Hello guys! For those who have responded to RFE what would be the next update in the system? Will the USCIS acknowledge once they received the response?we don't have ways on how to track the parcel coz it was not sent through any courier service company. We have sent our response through an envelope enclosed by USCIS.

Now what?? Lol

Congratulations! We are May 25, so I’m still in patience mode. But it’s always encouraging to see approvals on the forum.

Why so many RFE's for May? There's 80 or so already for May filers... What kind of evidence are they typically looking for?

Not a lot of those who got RFE's are member of this forum. But from what I've seen on April thread, they were asked for the Terms & Conditions of the website they met, proof of relationship, a box they forgot to tick or their passport biopage, and the passport size photos. To be honest, I was expecting a RFE because we forgot to put the terms and conditions of the website we met, and my ID picture wasn't a 2x2 one. But luckily, we got approved. So, it really depends upon the adjudicator who handles your case.

April 28, 2017- I-129F packet sent to Dallas Lockbox

                         Oct 18 -  READY

Oct 16 & 17, 2017 - Medical

Once they acknowledge that they received it. Then it should update to something like " we have received your responses to the rfe" not exactly words but you catch my drift ^_^
