I just called NVC today and got a case number, checked it and this came out. Does that mean its on its way to the embassy? When do we get Packet 3? And where is this interview date!?

In transit means they send the packet 3 to embassy and it will depends on the location , maximum 2 weeks. Your fiancée can fill up the DS-160 since you got the case number.

The petitioner will get an email from the Rio consulate and you will be able to schedule your own interview. It took 5 weeks from approval to getting the email for me.
