It doesn't bother me one bit, and it's like not he's running for any office soon.

...The former president’s spokesperson, Eric Schultz, defended the speaking fee in a statement saying: “With regard to this or any speech involving Wall Street sponsors, I'd just point out that in 2008, Barack Obama raised more money from Wall Street than any candidate in history — and still went on to successfully pass and implement the toughest reforms on Wall Street since FDR.”...

It goes to show you can be the worst, most corrupt human imaginable and get support from liberals as long as you feed them the ####### they want to hear.

And as for the above post about reforms/regulations.. reforms and regulations are useless if the government 1) doesn't enforce them, 2) creates loopholes to evade them. So even if we don't dig into the specifics regarding how to circumvent these reforms, I find that "passing reforms" still mean nothing if it doesn't change the underlying behavior. Clearly it has not.. whatsoever. So there's no reason to give Obama credit for anything other than perpetuating corruption.

I don't see it changing much if at all with Trump, either.

I thought Obama was fighting against Wall Street?  Just like Clinton?

Hmmm...I wonder why Obama adversaries would pay him 400,000 for a short speech?

The same reason the Clintons got money rained on them.

It was obvious to me at the 2008 DNC where Obama stood on his promises. That was the end of my consideration of him as a candidate. Alas, liberals still try and justify his position.

And I mean, with this recent whining about popular votes, Obama shouldn't have even been that party's candidate in 2008. So-called President?
