The sad part is, I have already been told that I can do nothing til the end of the 6 month window. Hopefully the system will work for me!! If not, I will pack my things and move to the PI for a few months.

Who told you?

Call your congressman/woman/sentor (back?) and tell them they need to help you now. The USCIS has reported on official documents that the average processing time is 2.9 months. If you're past that, you need to call and ask for help. Explain that you are aware of the processing times reported out, but that they simply do not tell the story. You wouldn't call to wasted anyone's time, but since you're past the average, you need some help and have no other avenues to pursue.

Don't take no for an answer. Present yourself as a more eductated and informed constituent. You aren't a crazy calling to complain a week after you sent in your stuff.

Actually I've read quite a few of your posts...how can I not, you're all over VJ! From what I can see your posts fall into three categories:

Actually I've read quite a few of your posts...how can I not, you're all over VJ! From what I can see your posts fall into three categories:

1. Congratulatory (no problem there, now that I'm not blinded by the HOT PINK color)

2. Insulting to some ethnic group or person (Remember your thread about Puerto Ricans driving by your place w/ their radio's blasting and disturbing your peace? This is a website about immigration, people here are of different cultures, singling out one group in a negative light, regardless of what scientific comment you wanna make about the decibles of sound necessary to cause hearing loss, is just plain insulting.)

AND

3. The nonsensical posts, that Nagi so aptly termed "post whoring". (Do you ever preview any of your posts, and re-read before actually hitting the magic button?)

But if it soothes your Napoleon complex to "smell" my jealousy, by all means continue.

Thanks for all the advice, however, i am a person who believes in rules. I will wait till the six month time frame is up, then i will give them hell. This month is a wash anyway since i will be in the Philippines for the rest of it. If still no approval when I come back, I will go into overdrive and find out ####### is going on.
