Oh my gosh - I completely understand. Can't count the number of times I've said something to the effect of "why doesn't any of this seem to bother you?!?" It's good that he isn't as high strung as I am. We'd kill one another if he were, but geez - never bothered - I just can't fathom it.

I think they suffer in silence.

Or, the other thing, I think, is that for our soon-to-be-leaving home loved ones: the wait for us here is hard, but for them it's bittersweet. One more day apart is still one more day with families and friends before they make a really big change. So many thorny issues . . . . What our boys do for love, eh?

Marlon is a Jamaican so they are so used to making people wait that I am sure that them waiting is no big thing! lol But I will say that he is missing me like crazy as well

Congrats on the recent touches as well as NOA2s!

Sorry to say but today I am extremely bummed out and getting tired of waiting. VJ and all of you guys are the only things keeping me sane!

Well, here in the US we are so used having things done in a blink of an eye, so having to go through this whole waiting game is driving us insane. Hell, I can't even stand waiting for my pop corn to pop in the microwave so I can eat it, let alone wait for an approval from USCIS!

For those of you who have SO's in countries other than the Middle East, you don't know how blessed you are. For those of you who get to communicate with your SO's on a daily basis and are fortunate to have a computer or a good phone connection, you are blessed. For those of you who are both in good health, again, you are blessed.

Technically, my fiance and I started our journey 14 months ago. After waiting 189 days last year, we were denied. This is now round two. I have seen couples who filed last year now filing for AOS. I can't help but think that should have been us by now, but it isn't. We probably will be going through the black hole of AR /AP or waiver after we are approved for the NOA-2, so no smooth sailing for us. Maybe I will again get to see my fellow February filers having their interview or seeing them greeting their SO's at the airport . Like I said, I can't get excited about the NOA-2 because it means another day closer to the pit.

So I think my point is, count your blessings, people. Really , you don't know how good you have it. God be with each and everyone of you . (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
