Did you see Scotty's ashes are going to be launched into space.

Beam me up Scotty!!!!

I miss the Old Star Trek!!!!

I miss Mr. Spock, Dr. Mccoy and Scotty

Moondancer

I miss Captain Kirk making out in his toupee ! :crying:

I don't think he had the toupee till after the first movie, and I can only think of one make out scene with Kirk in the movies, the one with the shape-shifter in the 6th movie.

Not in the movies - I think they figured out that having a starship captain be a Man-####### was a bit inappropriate for someone in a position of authority (imagine the lawsuits - "The captain put his hand on my knee and slapped my bottom") He had a bit of a Roger Moore thing going on with the ladies in the original series though.

BSG is nearing the end :crying:

the last episode I saw was really good...

I really am going to miss this show :(

Me too...I hope the final episode is really good, and a satisfying conclusion to the series.

ok I just watched what I am guessing is the finale episode of BSG... I was planning on going to bed after but there is somethings that bother me about this episode...

we never find out for sure what Kara Thrace is and the fact that the last 30 minutes of the episode was really lame.. the first part of the episode was amazing and then it just fell flat..

Agreed. Saw it yesterday and I wasn't particularly impressed after they boarded the colony ship. I did chuckle though at the ending when all the play robots were shown in NYC.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

How they ended the war was pretty lame too - what with Baltar's little monolog and Al from Quantum leap holding a gun to the head of a 4 year old.

Indeed that was a stupid way to go.

They'd made him into such an interesting villain too....

Indeed. Why do series finales suck so much?

I thought they ended The Shield pretty well.

The BSG finale is on a par with the last episode of the X-Files.

I guess I'm the only one that actually liked it.

The one thing I did have a problem with was Lee's big idea to start all over with no technology. Were the 30+ thousand survivors from space supposed to morph into a tribe of hunters/gatherers somehow?

Real love stories never have endings...

Yeah I thought that was really silly.

They elected a new president - and somehow everyone decides to go with this idea that Lee pulls out of his ####### that they don't need technology anymore.

I can't believe that noone would have raised some sort of objection...

"don't build a city, live in a mud hut. What!? Are you effing crazy!?"

Well the whole premise was to avoid making the mistakes they made. Then viewers can blame Lee for having a world (ours) so full of sh!t sometimes.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
