Tin Man

I really liked Tin Man!

The 4th and final season of Battlestar Galactica starts this Friday!! I am both excited and sad...

but I am glad they are ending the show on a high note and not dragging it out... :thumbs:

I LOVE BSG! So excited for the first show tonight as well. Am sad that it's going to end.... what am I going to watch after it's over? Nothing else begins to compare right now with that show. SG Atlantis is OK, but not anywhere near as good, I don't think.

At the same time, it does seem to be a show that SHOULD have a beginning, a middle and an end.

I haven't watched Tin Man yet.. I have it but silly hubby says he wants to see it too so I have to wait until he wants to see it because I don't want to have to watch it twice :P

yeah BSG is the best show out there....... that and Lost are my top two fav shows.... season 2 of BSG was a little boring but it got better at the end of the season...

I do really like Atlantis though.. it has gotten way better these last few seasons.. i really hated Ronin at first but they are finally figuring out what to do with his character.. they are making his lines a bit funnier etc.... he has grown on me now... Taila on the other hand is starting to get on my nerves.. Rodney McKay is my fav though...

just finished watching BSG... i love that show :)

I have this little nagging feeling that the president is the last cylon... I have had that feeling before...

Thank god for an off topic thread! :) (Interview is in 4 days, all I've done the last two days is paperwork.)

It was an AWESOME start to the BSG season, no doubt!

The president??? Hmmm.... hadn't thought about her, actually. She has cancer, though.... Oh, she did meet up with Sharon and Six in the jailcell and shared visions with them, didn't she?

What about Starbuck? What is her deal coming back from the dead? But she's probably the too obvious choice. Baltar? Also probably too obvious.

SG: Atlantis... Ronin is my favorite. :) He's per-tee. :)

AOS & getting the SSN & the I-693

6/13/08 Applied for SSN for David ----- TRIP 1; 6/23/08 Went back to SSA 'cuz the person didn't pc all documents (rec'd letter from them) ----- TRIP 2

7/2/08 Received David's health insurance cards! Yay!

7/3/08 Went back to SSA; they said come back 7/9 if he still hasn't received it ----- TRIP 3

7/8/08 Got list of vaccines he still needed from CS by fax/phone; tested for immunity to MMR (only vaccine still needed) at our family dr

7/9 & 7/10/08 Went back to SSA, card still not received - Denied opportunity to apply for replacement ----- TRIP 4; Went back to SSA again to apply for a replacement card - Talked to a supervisor this time, POE people entered his last name incorrectly ----- TRIP 5; went to get David's ID thru the State, denied - instructions wrong on website; measles test inconclusive, another test needed; requested new lease

7/14/08 SSA called me in regards to problems at local SSA office

7/15/08 INFOPASS appt to fix POE name input error and then went to airport to fix POE name error

7/17/08 Received SSN card in mail and went to get state ID

7/21/08 State ID received in the mail and tested again for measles immunity

7/29/08 MMR shot #2 given and dropped off papers at Civil Surgeon (CS)

7/31/08 Picked up I-693, completed by local CS, (I paid $25, don't be fooled)

8/3 - 8/6/08 Worked on forms I-485, G-325A, I-864, I-765 and I-131; sent to Chicago - YESSS!

8/11/08 NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP; 9/2/08 Transfered to CSC; 9/4/08 Biometrics

10/24/08 Rec'd AP; 10/27/08 Rec'd EAD; 11/24/08 Rec'd GC

Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter form Stargate) is doing a new show now called Sanctuary.. the first 8 episodes are webisodes, meaning they were made to watch on the internet...

we watched the first webisode yesterday.. it seems interesting but I a not sure about it yet.. it looks like it is a monster type show and Tapping's character plays a monster hunter..

the show has been picked up for 13 episodes on the Sci Fi channel...

as anybody watched Amanda Tapping's new show Sanctuary?

awhlie back we watched the first webisode but we really couldn't get into it.. but then the SciFi channel gave them a show and they redid the webisodes...

hubby and I really like the show now.... and I am finally used to Amanda's fake English accent...:P

they have done one season already and the new season comes out in the Fall..

yeah we were pleasantly surprised by how good it is...

I just searched and they say the air date for the second season is Friday October 9, 2009 :thumbs:

July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.

I don't think he had the toupee till after the first movie, and I can only think of one make out scene with Kirk in the movies, the one with the shape-shifter in the 6th movie.
