  1. 1. What would you do if your application was denied and there was no prospect of any subsequent ones being approved?

Except to refile in Casa seems a good chance of approval so the second refile would be worth the chance, at some point i think you would have to make a choice or say to both life must go on.

thats not what the question asked! thats my point!

No, ifs , ands , or buts.........

If something like that were to ever happen, no WAY would I stay separated from my wife!

I would move to Turkey, and we would do whatever we had to do, to have a life THERE!

Would be tough, but I would do whatever it takes.

Even if it meant I had to go out on the streets, like some of those poor kids you see out there in Istanbul traffic , each day, trying to make a living selling water bottles to motorists...............if those poor little kids are dedicated enough to do that, right in the middle of "rush hour" , then the least I could do, is work just as hard, for the sake of my wife.

Except in my case................I would probably be selling EFES beer...........instead of water. :P

soooo the question is, there is a denial and *no prospect of any subsequent ones being approved* and there is an answer of "send in another application"

i guess nothing is absolute with regard to USCIS, but in the context of the question this answer seems like the equivalent of banging your head against a wall.

Well, in my lifetime, I've seen alot worse than headbanging... However, I didn't think it was necessary to include all the possible courses of action.

thats like being denied for a credit card and applying again and again even though you were told you were denied. (the important part being - *no prospect of any subsequent ones being approved*)

recipiant of the darwin award if you ask me.

If everything in life was static, then you would have a point. Since it is not, you have no point!!!

nothing is absolute

That's my style. Life is not to be taken for granted! We must do whatever it takes to make ends meet. The exception to this rule is that at the same time you must contain your dignity. For example, ABSOLUTELY NO PROSTITUTION!

You cannot give up, EVER, on your life together! That is true happiness!

i would move there.... even better.... i'd rather pick a third country we could both go to and start a business there.......depending on what our options would be. but at the very least, move to his country!

but i don't think i would reapply here in the us.

i have no point? lol? you actually defined the poll as being static when you stated no prospect of any subsequent ones being approved. one would have options, but refiling in the context you gave is pointless (which was my point :innocent: )

I would rather first try again. Its not that easy for me to just pick up and move as it is for my fiancee. If we get denied again, then I'll either move to Indoneisa or we both might move to Sweden as I still have citizenship there. Depends what country is easier to get work I suppose.

I would definitely move to Turkey. I can teach there, so a job is not a problem (albeit a 60-70% pay cut!)

It would be hard, but I would do it. Omer prefer's there anyway, and in terms of raising children, I think it's a better place to do so. Children are children for a much longer period of time.

The hardest hit would be my retirement/pension- it's extraordinary, and I think I'd have to cash it out.

Hopefully, we won't be in that boat.

It's much better to be able to make an informed decision about life with dual citizenship for both of us and our child (we are hoping to have :)

We'd move to an EC country. If for some reason it came down to moving to Brazil, we'd move to Brazil, but it's not an "in a heartbeat" situation.

IF we were denied with no hope of ever being approved I would find a way to move to my husband's country. Where there's a will there's a way and I can be persistent when necessary. AND neither I wouldn't leave my daughter behind. There are ways..... ;)
