When should i start calling nvc to check about case complete

Hi everyone,

 

I just learnt few days ago that nvc received my IV package with civil docs on 21st of april. I applied for eb3 work visa (i140) I have an attorney on my case . So my question is when and how often should i start calling nvc for update hopefully for a case complete! Im single no kids. So i dnt hv many documents...thanks in advance!.the waiting is tortute!

Currently the processing time is 11 weeks, despite the number of documents that you have.

Thanks for ur reply.yes i called nvc and they said that it takes UP to 11 weeks. Not necessarly 11. But i was told that there is always a chance  it might finish sooner depending on the order in which cases were received. From what i read on this site alot of cases finish in 2 or 3 weeks. Im keeping my hopes up

Typically the ones that get done that fast are the electronic processing ones.. Ours was at the NVC for 12 weeks (no RFE) and I was in the 6 week threshold. It changed to 11 weeks after our case left the NVC.
