The letters correspond to the numbers on your phone (each has two or three letters), MSC would be 672 for example.  My SR took roughly two or three days longer than the deadline they gave me when I submitted, hopefully you hear back tomorrow (that it's been assigned and/or processed), after ours' was processed, it took another week to get the response in the mail.  The same day we got the response, which just said it's being worked on, we also got a case status update via text and on the website that said new card in production, hopefully you have a similar experience :)

Thank you so much! I could finally call a tier 2 representative and she was very unhelpful, she said that I need to wait 120 days before I can submit a request and that it takes 30 days for a SR to be responded to. I asked her if I can expedite my EAD with a job offer and she said I'm not allowed to look for a job. I know this is bul***** but what can I do? She said I already have three service requests pending and that I should just wait. Do you think there's any point in calling again?

We had the same response. My husband got a job offer, we are at day 113 of waiting for EAD, tried to put in a SR and were told the jbo offer didn't matter. I don't really understand why the wait time is so long at this point. Surely they must understand that in 4 months of living here and not being able to work or drive, people start to get impatient..

Thanks for that! I've not gotten the letter yet, but I'm going to assume Detroit. We live in Michigan, but we are closer to Chicago than Detroit, so I'm not sure if there is a possibility of us going to Illinois or not.

Also. Is it normal to not be approved right away at the AOS interview? I'm now starting to really dig deep on information since I know it's coming up pretty quick now.

After raising two SRs (one online and another by phone about 8 days later), we got a response that said:

"The status of this service request is: Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly."

The next day, we got a case status update that said:

"Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production"

So don't give up hope!

Did you ever hear back about AOS?  It's been like 120 days or so now and no word yet, but so glad EAD/AP will show up in the mail soon

Mine is still stuck on 'ready to be scheduled for interview' for more than two months now. Nothing yet.

With the EAD the waiting for AOS will be easier.

Ours is still stuck on fingerprint fee received, so you are way ahead of us there where you were behind by a day on EAD/AP, no clue when you can put in a case inquiry / SR for AOS, it wouldn't let me even well past 100 days

I'd say just give it a few more days to a week and see if you get that response to your SR.  You can check the SR to see if it's been assigned or responded to/completed at the bottom of your case status webpage, seems to work best if you created an account on myuscis at https://egos.uscis.com - creating an account seemed to do a little more than just typing in the case number, but only gave me updates on my SR, and it also let me track all 3 of our cases just by signing in once I set it up

I got my EAD approved after 2 SR, and 20 days from the my first SR. They usually won't send an actual mail unless they approve you. Note, my PD is May 02, and the actual processing time for EAD is within 120 days NOT 3 months like some people think. So unless you go over the 4 months peak, you shouldn't be worried really.
