Hey guys! I just checked my mail box and I found two letters from USCIS. It's the approval notices for EAD and AP. The letters are dated 08/17/2017.  The weird thing is that I received the letters before the online status change.  But my online status changed to New card is being produced just a couple of minutes ago!!

I am so happy :)

Congrats!

My first SR was August 1 and I didn't see any change on my case online and on August 10 I put second SR. Next day my case status changed "inquiry was completed". So I don't know why it worked for me. My PD was may 3

My husband called USCIS today about his SR that was submitted 12 days ago and got a very discouraging response.  First of all, I think they've gotten a new automated phone system since the last time we called a few months ago, and if it's possible, it's worse.  He was hung up on two times before he finally got through.  The person was incredibly rude and said that there's no point calling about a SR before 15 days because that's the standard processing time.  Wouldn't give us a T1 receipt number or any more info about how the case is progressing.

We're feeling really discouraged and my husband in particular feels down about his immigration status, so I'm really hoping we hear some news soon.  :/

I put the second one after 9 days of waiting, but both of them are not assigned yet.

When I tried to file a second one online it wouldn't let me for that reason. Perhaps I did something wrong the second time.

Im still waiting for my response in the mail from my first request. It better be something good because I'm ready to throw the finger out to anyone who tells me my case is anything but "card in production".

As someone here said earlier. They can suck it.

@McBen thanks! i hope you hear something soon:D

have a great week!

Hi, I had the same experience, and though AP never updated online, we received NOA for the EAD and the AP approvals both today in the mail, stating it will come as a combo card.  I'm sure you'll see the same, the letters came within 3-5 days after we saw new card in production on EAD - hope this helps! :)

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:
