02/21/2015 Got married to USC

04/24/2017 Sent AOS package I-130, I-485, I-765 & I-131

04/27/2017 Package delivered to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

05/05/2017 Checks cashed 

05/08/2017 Received NOA in the mail for I-130, I-485, I-765 & I-131

05/19/2017 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter (dated 05/12/2017)

06/02/2017 Biometrics Appointment

08/17/2017 EAD/AP Approval Notice

08/21/2017 EAD/AP card is being produced

08/24/2017 EAD/AP Card mailed out

08/26/2017 Received EAD/AP card in the mail

06/14/2018 AOS Interview

06/14/2018 RFE for Medical at the Interview

06/15/2018 Approved I-130

06/19/2018 Submitted  new medical in person at local USCIS

07/03/2018 Sent renewal for EAD and AP

09/14/2018 USCIS responded to SR stating case was delayed due to security checks pending

11/26/2019 Received RFE from local office for  Expired Medical Exam

12/09/2019 Submitted Medical Exam for the third time via UPS to local USCIS office

12/16/2019 New card is being produced. 

12/17/2019 Approved I-485

everyone else, I'm on my way home from work to see what our answer to our EAD SR is going to say when I open the mail, but before I got on the subway I got a text message that our case was updated.  "New Card Is Being Produced", finally!  Can't wait to get home and surprise my wife with something better than the SR.

 

no updates to AP or AOS yet (which is odd because AP is supposed to be included with the EAD as a combo card, they told us that during biometrics.. so we'll see)

It's a simple RFE actually.... since my dad is my sponsor, they just need his monthly pay stubs that I forgot to send...

[06/29/24] Interview was scheduled for August 9, 2024.

[08/09/24] Interview Day and approved on the spot. Status changed to "In Line for Oath Ceremony"

[09/12/24] OATH CEREMONY! Officially a US Citizen

Our EAD status changed to "new card is being produced" today!! We are so excited. No changes to the AP status though.... it will still come as a combo card, right?? We are supposed to leave the country in 8 days and are just praying the card gets here before then. 

 

Anyone had the experience where only EAD is approved but combo card arrives?

congrats to u guys from my experience on Aug 4th my New card when into production n on the Aug 8th my card was in the mail to me. AP document was approved on Aug 7th. The card will come as a combo.

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

Hi so did you receive the card yet or it's still being mailed? What date did you get it If you have that is? Trying to do an estimate for when mine will get here was mailed out on the 16th

I filed May 10 and my uscis receipt number shows they received my application May 11 but my NOA1 came the 24th. Those two dates are pretty far apart compared to some others' PDs. Hoping I can rely on somewhere inberween because I'm so anxious!

GM yes I have my card it arrived on Saturday Aug 12th 4 days later after it was mailed. You might receive it today or tomorrow. Keep posted...

GM yes you will receive a combo card from my experience the day before they mail me the combo card my AP status changed to Approved. Congratulations n keep us posted.

GM jcrod9 you should have been receiving ur card provided that u didn't receive any rfie/rfe. We have the same  PD n timeline. I do hope that u get ur approvals n card soon. All dey best guys. Keep us posted.

Weird. I mean if that's the case, shouldn't it still be at NBC? My thought was all that background check stuff happens there and not in the local field office. I could be wrong. I still haven't heard back from anyone so let's see.

It comes as a combo card but my AP status NEVER changed online. Even now, I've had my EAD/AP combo card for over a month and my AP status is still stuck on "received my application." At this point, I'm quite certain it will never change. Same for my I-130 - my I485 updates but my I130 is stuck on pause :mellow:

05/03/2017: Delivered.

05/10/2017: NOA1s received via text/email at 11:30pm.

05/15/2017: 5 NOA1s received via mail 

05/16/2017: Form I-765 (for child) sent to Chicago, IL.

05/20/2017: Biometrics appointment letter received.

05/22/2017: 1 NOA for form I-765 (for child)received by text/e-mail.

05/26/2017: 1 NOA received via mail.

06/02/2017: Biometrics done.

06/04/2017: Biom appt letter rec'd for child's form I-765

06/14/2017: Biometrics done.(for child)

06/14/2017: Both Forms I-485; Ready to be Scheduled for Interview.

08/18/2017: EAD, new card being produced.(day 108)

08/23/2017: EAD, card is being mailed (day 114)

08/26/2017: EAD card received (day happy)
