I've applied the 9th but case was received the 15th and got RFE the 20th june

I'm assuming I'll receive my response in the mail, and I'm really hoping it's not just "your case is within normal processing time" because I'm at 95 days out from my PD now.

No news yet.  I actually called the customer service line to check what the message "we sent a response" meant.  I was told I should have recieved an email, which I haven't yet.  The person I spoke with said my case was out of processing time and he made another SR for me, although I didn't ask him to.  He said hopefully within a few days my card would go into production.  

So, we'll see.  I'm very hopeful that I'll get news by the end of this week.  

I think all May filers can start expecting good news:)

So I called USCIS to put in an SR because I've had no update since my response to the RFE was received over 60 days ago. The representative told me I am eligible for an SR but her system was down so I'd have to call someone else  ok USCIS, whatever. So I hung up and called again and was able to put in a SR. I was told I'll receive an email within 3-5 business days so hopefully (1) I actually do, and (2) when I do, it's some good news and an apology lol

My PD is May 5th. Can i do a SR for i-485? I never got an RFE or anything, its just stuck in fingerprint fee received. I did biometrics on June 21

I don't think so as it is still in its processing time. The only reason I was allowed to was because I should have received an update about whether my response to the RFE was accepted within 60 days after receipt. So technically my SR was for the RFE not for the I-485.

Whats the proccesing time for 485? 120 days?

Another VJ member answered: "Look at the "Processing Cases as of Date" section of the field office wesbite that is dealing with your case. If that date is past today's date, then you are outside normal processing times and can raise a service request. Note that sometimes that date is not accurate." I don't believe any of us May filers are eligible for an SR for the I-485 as yet.

 

I believe if you have still not received your EAD within 75 days, however, you can put in an SR for your I-765.

We just put in an online service request for his I-765!  We should get a response by August 31, fingers crossed.

I put online SR on my I-765 august 1 and no response yet. When I look my case online it says "As of August 1, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number SR12131704753MSC, is currently not assigned for processing".

Good afternoon yall I tried to put a SR on day 76 but it was unsuccessful I tried again on day 85 and SR was accepted for my I-765 .

august 1 and no response yet.

I have a question. My SR regarding the response to my RFE was put in today. Every other time I have put in a SR, my referral number has ended with MSC. However, the SR today ends with BAL. Does this mean my application has been transferred to my local field office (Baltimore). I'm just a bit confused. Ready to book an infopass just to find out lol

Considering the cases are transferred to local offices for the interview stage, that is really good news for you!!!

 

It is either your case is currently at BAL or they assigned to an officer there to take a look at it once it arrive (considering it takes them forever to take a look at SR).

Hi MccSya, 

I have filed on May 9 and case was received on May 15 as well! (Biometrics on June 5). I still haven't heard anything back about EAD or GC yet.
