Hi please did you get a combo card when you expedited or just the EAD? Also would you say the congressman was helpful in the process? I sent a request and faxed evidence to have my Ap expedited as my father is terminally ill. I'm hoping they approve and send a combo so I can at least work and travel to see him. Also did you place a call to the congressman or what it an email on their website please let me know. Thanks

Yup, it came as a combo card. I requested to expedite my EAD only though. So I was able to travel once I got it. I'm not sure how helpful the congresmman was because I was attacking USCIS at every angle. I was working on the senator, the infopass, and the USCIS customer care. And my husband was on the congressman. I read from a blog a past USCIS employee wrote that all congressman requests are bumped to the top for review but I have also seen people here say that the congressman didn't help. My theory is it doesn't hurt to try. I initially called and asked who to talk to. The lady told me to write them an email. None of my emails were ever replied to but she always picked up the phone and spoke to me. Eventually, my husband pretty much started calling her every day but to be honest, I think it took her like 2 weeks from the time I inquired to the time she actually contacted USCIS. Maybe she did help with my expedite, but I can't say for sure.
