Yes!  Absolutely, the best thing we can all do is fill out our timelines, not just for May but for everyone on this website.  This website functions so well because of the aggregated timeline data and every single one of us learning and sharing what we read and experience.

Also - If you haven't filled out a timeline yet, a nice thing to know is that visajourney will use that same aggregated data along with your personal timeline to provide you with some pretty darn close estimates for your cases' adjudication times.

On the other hand, if - like my wife's EAD - your's is still pending at NBC, they seem to have a pretty big backlog right now causing delays.  The processing times for EAD says they are now processing for cases from March. I'm not certain, but that makes it sound like they are 60 days behind the typical 90 day estimate?  Anyone know if that's how I should be reading it?

Field Office Processing Dates for National Benefits Center as of: May 31, 2017
Form Title Classification or Basis for Filing: Processing Cases As Of Date:
I-102 Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival/Departure Record Initial issuance or replacement of a Form I-94 March 17, 2017
I-131 Application for Travel Document All other applicants for advance parole March 2, 2017
I-539 Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status All other extension applications March 17, 2017
I-600 Petition to Classify Orphan as an Immediate Relative. U.S. citizen filing to adopt an orphan March 17, 2017
I-600A Application for Advance Processing of Orphan Petition. U.S. citizen who plans to adopt a foreign-born child March 17, 2017
I-601A Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver Provisional Waiver of Unlawful Presence January 19, 2017
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization All other applications for employment authorization February 22, 2017
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] March 2, 2017
I-817 Application for Family Unity Benefits Voluntary departure under the family unity program December 2, 2016
I-824 Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition To request further action on an approved application or petition

So I'm a bit confused. Why does that chart not show processing of I-485s?

edit: ok never mind, I get it :)

Unfortunately my case is at NBC as well :( I will, however, be sending job applications now and hopefully the EAD will be out by then. If not I will definitely try to expedite it. I'll also be sending a SR as soon as I hit the 75 day processing time.

Also @dannydan, would you be so kind to fill out a timeline?  It doesn't take long and doesn't require any personal info, only dates and places :)

I think "ready to be scheduled for interview" means "we have processed all the paperwork and biometrics and other processes that need to take place before the interview, and you are now in a very long queue of people currently being scheduled going through interviews" rather than "we are imminently going to schedule your interview and you'll receive an interview notice soon."

The "case received" status update gave a specific time frame in which to expect the noa.  They didn't do that for the interview notice so I think it's just a different flavor of waiting, I'm afraid.

Today we got the AOS interview NOA in the mail. We received the update on 21th July and got the mail on 28th July. It took 7 days for mail to arrive, or maybe they mailed it monday, I don't know that much detail.

I got my Combo EAD card few days ago, but I had to send it back to USCIS -_- because they issued it to me by mistake. I applied for a Refugee Travel Doc but was issued Advance Parole instead and they had a nerve to ask me to refile I-131. Incompetent people... They even accused me of choosing the wrong box on I-131. I was like "This would be my third time applying for a refugee travel doc, I wouldn't make a simple mistake like that." I refiled my I-131 again with an expedite request due to USCIS error. And waiting for the correct EAD to be sent to me. Useless people.
