Sending thoughts and prayers your way, did you have an EAD application too?  Maybe that one won't be reset, I'd read up on that.  Sounds like it's only for the AOS, which can take anywhere from 90 days up to 3 years to get.  EAD and AP will work to keep you functioning like a citizen until AOS goes through at least.  Conversely, I've seen some other posts on here where they received RFE and then got an interview and filed around the same time I did, while you and I are still waiting to hear back

Thanks, appreciate the support a whole lot :)

Yeah we have an EAD app, didn't file for AP but now may do it as a follow up if we get EAD and the green card takes a long time.

The variation is really crazy - i suppose it must depend on your local field office maybe?

Hello folks, I've been following this thread for a while but only got the courage to post today :) I'm also a May2017 AOS filer with the following timeline.

04/29/2017 - Packet sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox (I-485/I-130/I-765)

05/02/2017 - Receipt date (PD)

05/12/2017 - NOA letter received with Notice Date of 05/08

05/19/2017 - Biometrics appointment letter received for 06/02

06/02/2017 - Biometrics completed

*** No update since and patiently waiting ***

Hi

@MAYNYCFiler2017I've just submitted an SR today to inquire on my EAD (no update for 76 days - PD is 05/02/2017) but got a different response.

Thank you for your request:
USCIS will review and process the request
Expect a reply by August 8, 2017
Your request ID number is SR11************

Was wondering how you submitted or checked your SR, or maybe something has changed on how USCIS is handling service requests. I feel helpless not able to drive for my wife, and especially to work and start saving for us.

Appreciate any feedback.

Thank you guys!

Wow it seems like a long time with no updates, is not even ready to be schedule for interview? What service center is processing it?

Was there any update in your SR since you filed last week?

No man! It's a little frustrating but I don't have any complaints. My I-485 still says FINGERPRINT FEE WAS RECEIVED since 05/06, and both I-130 and I-765 CASE WAS RECEIVED since 05/02. Hopefully, there'll be some news within the next 2 weeks (or earlier, fingers crossed). NBC is processing my case/s.

Same boat here, however my PD is May 31st, did my Biometrics on June 26th and no updates on I-485 yet, my case is being processed at NBC too. I am more active on June 2017 since my PD is closer to June but there are a couple of people who filed after me on June and their cases are being processed by NBC and their I-485 case is ready to be schedule for an interview. Not sure what is going on exactly.

Totally agree with you. Clearly, there's a huge backlog in USCIS processing and we can't do anything but wait - unless you have a very good reason to expedite your case. If it's still within the normal processing time then it should be fine.

Just a little curious though, has anyone also filed SR/s for their I-130 and I-485 after reaching more than 75 days? I'm planning to submit one today for my I-130 (on its 77th day) and I-485 on Thursday (75th day). Not sure if that will help but hoping and checking if it's worth the try. Thanks!

Interesting. I did come across a VJ member who was successful on I-130 and I-485 expedite. I recall that she had a job that required permanent residence. May I ask what you will cite to for your reason for expedite? I'm curious too.
