May 2017 AOS Filers

So looks like our expedite was "completed" but Im guessing it was denied? Based on what I've heard from others here and the status--

 

It shows this;

  On July 13, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD#####MSC, was completed.

• 07/13/2017
  

  On July 13, 2017, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD#####MSC.

• 07/13/2017
  

  On July 13, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number WKD####MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.

   

  However the next steps still show;

   

  If we accept your case, you will receive a receipt notice.  If we reject your case, we will send you an explanation with instructions.

   

  I assumed that if it was accepted and the expedite was OK, it would be changed to accepted or something based on an earlier comment?

No, don't assume this. I never got notice of my acceptance until I called in and asked what was going on. The status changed from completed to card in production with nothing in between.

and of course rep said nothing they could tell us over the phone, and to just wait for a mail with the decision... or call back after 75 days(were on day 50) and ask for an escalation based on primary time line... Lazy rep it seems like.. guess I will just keep checking online.

I had to go thru to a tier 2. I told him I was concerned because every other time I have gotten an email except this time, so he transferred me to tier 2. Hopefully you'll see a status update soon.

My expedite has been like that since June 27th. I requested my congressman's help last week and they told me that they usually get a reply within 10 days. So guess I'll just check again next week

So just sitting, bad day at work and get a text my status updated on USCIS. Like oh great another spam error but its a different MSC....

 

Turns out.... NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!!

 

 

Scoreee!! Should we get the AP at the same time or thats still separate? Hopefully mailing time and stuff not to bad, Im guessing we can tell them she can start in 3 weeks(Social security time+mailing time?)

Yay!!! Congrats!! EAD and AP is a combo card but the AP won't update online. Yay!!!! From what I've seen, it takes about a week for the card to arrive.

Awesome! Cant wait, guess it will make more sense to when it arrives. She was worried about the AP so hopefully once we see that sticker on it or paperwork for the AP, she gets less worried.

This is what the bottom of the card looks like. I only needed the card and my passport to get thru.

Awesome! Thanks so much, now  the rough part is over. Waiting on an interview seems easy cause she can work, travel, and everything basically so hopefully smooth sailing from here. Now time to find out about passport stuff for the Carribean for our honeymoon and if her Filipino passport limits us still since we are married.

Happy to say we got our AP/EAD combo card in the mail today...

Tuesday they texted it was being mailed. Thursday arrived...

You can call into USCIS to get a tracking number (they don't tell you the tracking number when they update you)

I feel the same way. My status has been stuck on RFE Response received for over a month now and I'm like whateverrrr lol
