I worry about it a lot too even now that my husband is here in the US with me

Yeah my wife and I decided to move here and get married sooner than we had planned on because of his innauguration, he did the first travel ban right around my wife's trip here.  He scares me everyday...

Yeah I was like in hysterics after the first travel ban, especially after seeing green card holders being blocked. I'm aware that my husbands country has its share of problems at the moment so there is always that fear that diplomatic relations between the US and Turkey could go awry. It really scares me!

Update.

5/29/2017. I received RFE in the mail.

6/1/2017. Had my biometric apointment done.

6/9/2017. Sent out RFE back to Uscis via Usps.

6/15/2017. My Uscis status changed that they received my RFE.

6/27/2017🤗 My Uscis status changed to  "CASE READY TO BE SCHEDULE FOR AN INTERVIEW👌"

God is the greatest

Congrats Ogoshinda!  Wow you got an RFE and already an interview is scheduled, that's crazy fast!

I'm hoping we hear back soon because you and I have done almost everything on the same dates since K1.  We haven't heard a word since biometrics, which we did on same date as you too haha.  Did you hear anything back about EAD yet?  Good luck with your interview!!!  Keep us posted my friend.

It would be super nice if the website had an update after biometrics are complete that at least says they were done and accepted, drives me crazy that it says "fingerprint fee received" and "case was received" still since early May

We did the biometrics on June 11th. But did not recevie the noa1. If we do info pass can we get a duplicate? Or is this document not that important.

You never received a NOA letter even before your biometrics?  You have to have it just to do the biometrics.  There isn't a NOA after biometrics.  I'm not sure how you could have done biometrics without your NOA letter or letters.

I think you might be okay but I dunno what you're looking for exactly.

Can you please elaborate what you believe you haven't received, and also let us know what you have received so far please?  And, is this for 485, 765, 131, or something else?

Edit:  also always be sure to save any NOA letters and all other correspondence you receive from USCIS or NBC or NVC, all of those letters will be important to keep in your files

No. You can do bio without it. I just dont haave the receipt of the 485. It is not that important but to apply drivers licence. We need something.

Never received the 485 receipt.

Hmm, You must have had a receipt number to do the biometrics, that's how they associate the biometrics with your application, they wouldn't let us in the door without that at our local office?  I dunno... I could be wrong.

Anyways,  when did you mail in your packet, and what are you adjusting from?  If it's been more than 30 days since they received your packet and you haven't gotten a receipt notice you should call them.  Did you get a text or email about it?  You do need a copy of that, it's your proof of pending status until you get your green card

Hello everyone,

I submitted my applications (I-485,130,765, 131,864) April 24th, got RFE May 27 and replied 3 wks after, USCIS confirmed the response and no actions on my applications, MSC center. Its a bit frustrating with the delays, what can I do please, I have read some positive responses from applicants who submitted theirs before mine. Would it be logical to call the customer service for inquiries?

Hi, if you call the customer service they will definitely tell you that your case is still within the regular processing time, as with you and most of us may filers the response we are all waiting for is the update on our EAD/AP approval..

Although few of us have gotten updates on our I-485 about it being ready to be scheduled for interview, still it doesn't mean that your application or other people who haven't had updates is slower.... or that ours is faster, everyone's cases is different...

Don't be frustrated and anxious, the updates will come soon...Best of luck.

I hope i can the duplicate of thia document.

Thanks

A duplicate? So, did you get it and then lost it, or did it never come in the mail?  Either way, try calling USCIS and ask them what to do.  They can help you figure out what to do

I don't think there's a way to having your biometrics done without having your NOA's at the door, there's probably a mistake somewhere...

Yes maybe she lost the originals I agree with you...

I think so, our case history says this; and when we called on 6/23 - the rep told us to wait for a contact from the expedite either via mail or e-mail and we got nothing. Maybe we should call and ask again? Our next steps still say the "if we accept your case ...."

Just realized for some reason, its causing me to post under 2 names.... weird.

We called the USCIS today and found out that they took down the wrong email address!!! She confirmed it 3 times on the original call, and then twice on the follow up call.... no paper mail yet as of yet either.. so 5 days down for nothing... Said Tier 2 would call/email us within the hour so... lets see what happens with that ....SIGH
