No update. Received my EAD/AP combo card but I-485 still stuck on "we received your response" to the RFE. I didn't submit my husband's tax records for the I-864 so I know that a RFE should be the next update so this can only mean nobody has touched my I-485 since my EAD expedite. No complaints over here!

Just a comment on the status updates on the USCIS website; my I485 status never updated online until I received notification for the interview date. After 12 months!

Even now, my wife's petition (I130) still says case received even though we have had her approval notice since Saturday just passed.

Good luck

"Card being produced" update today!!! (For EAD) Yay!

Finally... Submitted the evidence on June 21st (also requested to expedite on same date) - 6 days later approved.

Now card just needs to come in the mail in the next 5 days :)

So happy! I can testify then that working from entry date is "OK" with USCIS - I have been/am working without EAD since entry date which was a month ago.

Also my job offer letter which I faxed them was expired (expired on May 15th, with job start date mentioned as June 15th which is also in the past...) but they didn't care..

Gratz!!!

Grrr we can't even get a response to our expedite yet.. no mail or email as of yet. Emailed our senator as well, and stated they would work work on it but nothing back as of yet since the 21st. Projected state date of July 10th and feeling nervous. Hopefully it works out.

Also online updated to "RFE was received on the 21st and still sitting on"We will review your response to our request and mail you our decision. " as next steps for the 485.

So you got no initial response? Or no response after sending the evidence itself?

Because usually if you request to expedite under severe financial loss they will "complete handling" the request by the same/next day, and then mail you to send evidence (fax). - you can call and ask and they will say the same thing so you could actually fax the evidence even before receiving the actual letter in the mail requesting you do so.

Anyway, I really hope it works out for you ASAP!

Well our status online shows they responded to our expedite request, but we have gotten no mail nor email about it yet. We called the rep and they said to wait 3-5 days and check our email/mail and nothing yet... so I guess just waiting for the initial response to our expedite request.

Just says "On June 21, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ###, was completed." we called on the 23rd and rep told us to wait longer and should get a mail/email....

I started a thread about this but coming here too because I do have that slight fear especially with Trump presidency. I intend to travel to Jamaica next week with my brand spanking new EAD/AP combo card. I'll carry my british passport, my I-485 NOA, and my USC husband for good measure haha. Hopefully there are no problems. Will keep you updated.

Also, still no update on I-485. Since June 8, the status has been:

Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

I don't care. As long as its not rejected!

For us it took 5 days after "our request to have your case expedited, referral number ###, was completed" until we physically gotten the envelope in the mail requesting for further evidence (the job offer...). So hang tight!
Also you might want to call again and ask for the REF number because realistically you could send the evidence right away without having to wait for the letter to come in the mail..

I think so, our case history says this; and when we called on 6/23 - the rep told us to wait for a contact from the expedite either via mail or e-mail and we got nothing. Maybe we should call and ask again? Our next steps still say the "if we accept your case ...."

Hello everyone,

I submitted my applications (I-485,130,765, 131,864) April 24th, got RFE May 27 and replied 3 wks after, USCIS confirmed the response and no actions on my applications, MSC center. Its a bit frustrating with the delays, what can I do please, I have read some positive responses from applicants who submitted theirs before mine. Would it be logical to call the customer service for inquiries?

Safe travels EMBELL, Trump stuff is scary for sure, but I think you don't have anything to worry since you're going to Jamaica.  Congrats on getting your approvals and cards, I hope you have a fun trip and can spend some time forgetting about all this for a bit :)

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:
