Hello everyone.

I just want to update that I received my 1 NOA for my spouse ,my 8 year old son  and myself on the 10 th of June, 40 days after they received my package. They cashed my cheque after 35 days of receiving the package. So, it's been a long wait. I m happy. Fingers crossed for the biometrics. My papers filed in Nebraska.

So , to all who still are waiting for the NOA , don't get dishearten. Success is on the way ....just have patience.

Got my biometrics appointment for 20th june.

Did anyone had any update after biometrics?

The day after my biometrics, my I-485 status changed to "We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case" but the date was backdated to when I received my NOA text messages. They sent me an RFE and the next update was that they received my response to the RFE. Nothing in between so don't expect them to acknowledge that you completed your biometrics.

Got my Bio appointment in the mail on Saturday, for the 21st of the month. If i go for a walk in, what should i say?

I have a job offer and would like to get it earlier so i can expedite my EAD.

I recommend going AFTER noon if your USCIS center is a bit more strict. People start lining up from 8am so the lady at the front was very stern with time. She would not even let people with 9am appointments line up with the 8am people. I told her I was a walk in and she said I would have to sit and wait. Instead of waiting, I returned at around 12:30 and I went straight thru. Good luck!

Anyone hear back any updates after having done their biometrics?

Curious what the wait will be like to see things update from "fingerprint fee accepted" on AOS and "case was received" on 765 and 131

We did my wife's biometrics on June 1

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

Okay, case status doesn't update or see "touches" between biometrics and receiving interview date and/or approvals?

Yes in riverside california.

Im adjusting as a tourist visa.

I took the noa and the passport and my current temporary license which is going to expire in 2 week time.

Ok someone guide me which dmv should i try for this

Bagasra, it looks like CA is one of very few states that require more than the NOA. You might have to wait until your EAD comes in. Otherwise, can you drive on your international license?

USCIS is under staffed. Cases takes time. No one knows what could happen next for any case. If you filed everything 100% correct. You will probably have your interview scheduled update anytime between 1-3 months after the biometrics. There's no specific timeline
