I did my biometrics (walk-in) just yesterday (5/30/2017) was scheduled for 6/8/2017 and no change in my case status what so ever !?

Any advice or similar experince !?

Hey Sudan Man, I did my walk in a few days early too and there was no change in status. I am not expecting any status change. When I requested expedite for EAD, I received NOA saying they would not process without biometrics. The day I did my biometrics, I successfully put in a SR for expedite and received an email from USCIS with RFE for expedite. So this must mean that they acknowledge I did my biometrics. I also got a touch on my I-485 2 days after my biometrics stating that they accepted my fingerprint fee but the touch was backdated to the date they mailed the NOA. I also received some RFEs for the I-485. So I guess there is no status update for receipt of the biometrics? I don't know.

Yes, you can bring your I-797 to the DMV and they can extend. I had to do the same thing.

Fingerprints done today...about 20 minutes drive from where we live, It took us 1 hour cause I spent about 30 minutes of the time chasing my toddler around in the bio office and he wouldn't stay still for a picture , kept doing silly faces for the camera :D and oh the agent was so patient and nice.

I'm glad I took the advise on this forum to take my marriage certificate along because of the name change.

Best wishes everyone.

I tried to do a walk in hoping that it might help speed up the process but it makes no diffrence.. still no change what so ever.

I am afraid of any RFIEs I did my best probiding every document possible even papers that they might consider not needed the only thing noy attached is the Joint Sponsor irs transcript but I put all W2s  and recent pay checks  as of my filing date.

Update on my EAD predicament: I called USCIS asking whyyyyy nobody has gotten back to me about my expedite. I got put on hold for 3 hours (lol but seriously though) and was transferred to a second level supervisor (why? why? WHY?). He told me that USCIS will not look at my application until I respond to the RFE they sent last week. I argued with him for about 10 minutes because I responded to the expedite RFE a full day before they sent out the I-485 RFE. I felt better after arguing with him. Then I went home and cried. Then I got the RFE for the I-130A and overnighted it ASAP. LOL! Hopefully, that's all they need until they complete my expedite request. That's my update! The struggle continues.
