Did anyone tried  to contact congressman or ombudsman? Can it help somehow?

I did and I thought it helped move the process a little bit. However, one of my colleagues reached out to her congressperson in her process and it seemed to have done nothing.

Sounds like they are just backed up big-time, hopefully you’ll be one of those who gets to skip the interview, also - as a plus and a minus — if it takes more than two years (the minus) to get it, I believe you it’s possible you might get your 10 year GC instead (the plus)

I'm not applying based on marriage though. My dad is the sponsor, so I should be receiving the 10 years instead of the 2 years. :D Still waiting though :(

Question. My medical expired on April. Should i get another medical before the interview and just hand the envelope to the IO or do i have to wait for him to give me the RFE at the interview?

I need to know this too. Also, does the Civil Surgeon has to complete the form I-693 all over again?

You said fiancee so i am assuming you are K-1 visa. K-1 adjustment medical don't need to redo medical after 1 year. AOS family based does that's why im asking.
