Thank you!

Mine says that as of August 15th 2017 they were scheduling my interview. That is better than just thinking they had done nothing since May 18th..

They say the maximum time recommended to renew it is 180 days before your current one expires. We received mine September 2017 and have already sent the application in so I would suggest you begin getting ready to apply. I applied this far in advance purely because my first one took 4 months and I don’t trust that the second one will be any faster...

Hello,

Do you or anyone on this forum know how many times you can apply for renewal of EAD & AP with a pending I-485 based on c(9)?

Thanks in advance.

On some of the USCIS timelines it has up to 27 months (and I imagine more in some areas) for interviews so I think honestly you would have to have an infinite amount of times you can reapply *as long as you are eligible* (i.e. AOS still pending) - until your AOS/other case is either approved or rejected. At least I hope it is that way because I know some people previously had to wait 3+ years for their  AOS..

Well, I got my receipt notices for my I-131 and I-765 (EAD) renewal.

The I-765 notice says that if I don’t receive a new EAD prior to my old one expiring, than this receipt serves as an automatic 180 day extension and can be presented to my employer to verify my employment eligibility.  HOWEVER, it specifically states that the automatic extension does NOT apply to the advance parole.

Just thought I’d share in case anyone else ends up in a similar situation.

Thank you for sharing! How long did the renewal take? I applied for mine about a month ago so it’s good to see somebody else having done it and got theirs.

I didn’t get the renewal yet, just the receipts for my applications.  Did you get your receipts yet?

I did but I’m pretty sure that mine specifically stated that the receipt did NOT serve as approval/an automatic extension.. definitely going to check again tonight
