Had my interview 1/23 @ 11:30 am.

On 1/26 at around 7pm, my online status for both the I-130 and I-485 says my case was approved on 1/24 (plus a text message and email).

About 11pm on 1/26, I got notice that my card had been mailed on 1/26.

Yesterday, 1/27, I received Welcome to USA letter in the mail.

Was the approval received by email, text mail or on the online portal please?

I meant to post this here (since I don't think there is any "April 2017 Filers"):

"Hello,

Does anybody have more up to date information on the processing time (I-485) for the Phoenix field office? Like, how is it now? Not "as of" October 31 as it is shown on the website. Maybe someone called USCIS to get this information."

We had our AOS interview today in Orlando and went extremely well. The officer was super nice and polite and made us feel completely at ease. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes and although it was not approved on the spot, the officer said everything looked good and we should be getting the Residence card in a couple of weeks. He said he didn't see any issues with the application, had everything needed and was approving it at his level but it had to be revised and final approved by his supervisor. The officer did not ask us any "tricky" or odd questions, basically personal stuff and double checked everything we had put down on the I485. The interview was a complete breeze, quick and uneventful.

We had our interview yesterday in Sacramento CA.  The IO was kind and professional.  Early in the interview he told us that he had no reason to question the legitimacy of our marriage, so the majority of the interview was simply confirming information already given under oath.  The IO informed us he was approving my wife's I-130, but could not move forward on approving my I-485.

Momentary panic....

It turns out that my birth certificate, which does not list my parents name was inadequate.  Now I have 87 days to furnish a "long" birth certificate before my AOS will be approved.

The finish line is in my sight!!!

Congratulations ! Lucky you! I am a June filer and our office's processing time has been updated backward Jan. :(

Did you make any service request for i-485? Would you mind sharing your interviewed questions? Many thanks!

Thanks! We are May10 filers and did not made a SR for the I-485 part, but did (at 90 days) for WP and AP, which took about 6 months for card to arrive. At the interview, the officer welcomed us into his office, made us swear under oath, took a pic and fingerprinted my wife (beneficiary), and then asked us if we had any documents to turn in, which we did. The questions the officer asked us were name, address, which POI used, and all of the yes/no Part 8 questions of the I-485 we had already answered during application. He basically took out our I-485 application from the thick file he had on his desk on us and went down the list and checked them off one by one. That was it! We left extremely surprised with how easy the interview went, and how nice and cordial the interviewer officer treated us. He even apologized for our wait outside in the lobby, which wasn't at all long, we were called in into office like 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time. Without any doubt, this was the most pleasant and unstressful experience we had have with USCIS as of yet.

Hope your interview gets scheduled soon and that it goes as smooth. Good luck.

If nothing has changed, you do not need a new a affidavit.  I took copies of everything I sent to be safe in case something got lost on their end.

We didn't have an updated I-864 nor it was asked for during the interview. We brought originals and copies of our W2s and 1099s just in case but weren't requested either.
