Is the PD considered to be the package delivery date or USCIS Notice Date(As it appears on the paper NOA1's)?

I think its the date on the 797 form which happens to be the actual date of your pacage delivery or the day after not the NOA1 issue date.

that is how I have red it in many cases

One fast question here !!

What are the uses of NOA1 "Idid not receive it yet" how can I make a use of this document?

I am here on a visitor visa and I used to drive with my home country DL,my understanding is they will issue me a DL with an expairy date as of my I-94.

Can I use the NOA1 so that I can get DL with  later expairy?

Any ideas?

We received our letter in the mail today for my wife's biometrics appointment.  Our appointment is scheduled for morning of June 1st.  I've also read it's possible to go in early as a "walk-in" once you have your appointment letter.  I'll let you all know what we end up doing.  The letter has appointment date and time and a scannable bar code that we need to bring with us to the office address nearest to us that was listed on the USCIS appointment letter.

Good luck and God bless everyone 🤗

Alas, we are on vacation and will try a walk in.

I'm quite concern now that its been 20  days since NOA1 notice date(though i didn't really have the knowledge as to how long should we really wait for it in the mail, i understand standard is 7-10 business days, who knows how long is the standard at USCIS), and still no bio letter in the mail. so I'm gonna call them tomorrow just to check if they've mailed it at least if they did I'd be able to get that info compared to not doing anything and then receive a notice coming from them telling me i didn't show up for that appointment when in fact i didn't receive any..

i will let you guys know...

here's to hoping it'll pop up in the mail first thing tomorrow before i call them.    :whistle:you gotta have faith faith faith:whistle:
