May 15th here and we are still on Fingerprint Fee Received. Hoping it will change before Christmas!

Mine's been stuck at RFIE received since June. If it weren't for that, I think I'd be on Fingerprint Fee Received as well. The last time I talked to a level 2 officer, for my AP issues, he mentioned that his system showed I was ready to schedule. I took that with a grain of salt though.

I guess patience is key.

Are there any other early May filers, AOS from K1, that are still on Fingerprint Fee Received and case at Missouri NBC like us?

It's been 5 months no update on GC application - we did get my wife's EAD/AP combo card about a month ago though.

My wife is K1 to AOS, filed May 3 (fingerprint fee update is from May 9), and we are in New York (queens area).

best I can tell is we might be one of those who has interview waived but it will take 6-9 months to get GC

May 1st application, still nothing for my wife :( (not even EAD or AP)

Today, she had an appointment at field office with INFOpass. The officer looked into her profile and said he did not understand what the meaning of her current status meant (he did not know how to interpret it). My wife asked him once if it seemed good or bad but he refused to answer and she decided to leave that be. He did take down her email/phone # and said he will get in touch once he finds out.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like that? I am dumbfounded!

Thanks everyone!  TroyP your's sounds very similar to us (they received our package may 3).

@spanwilder - I think you should call and ask for a tier 2 and find out what's going on ASAP, I'd be calling every day until I get some answers, and maybe contact your congress person to get involved

Hello everyone! I've been having a headache-inducing experience with my EAD so far, thought I might ask for some advice. I mailed the whole package on May 1st (AOS - adjusting from K-1, EAD, AP). Had to wait nearly a month for my AOS and AP NOAs and for my EAD Rejection Notice (form was apparently outdated, and they didn't take note of my AOS filing fee). I mailed the EAD packet again, on June 1st, and received my NOA on June 6th. So far I've been to two Biometrics appointments - one for AOS and one for EAD. Already received my travel document, but really I've been getting impatient to start working, and so far - nothing for the EAD. It's been 4 months now, and from what I've heard from people, those things normally take about three months. Also, my AOS case status online has been at "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" since June, and my EAD at "Case Was Received" since the NOA. Is there someone else who also has been experience the same or similar waiting period?

And am I imagining things, or is everything moving way slower this year than it was supposed to be?

@kris.n - EAD took nearly 4 months for us with no hiccups like your situation.  After 90 days (I think actually after 75), you can put in a Case Inquiry online for Case Outside of Normal Processing time, that will become a Service Request, and then it will get assigned to agent for response.  We did that around 75 days, it took a couple days longer than the 3 weeks estimate to get any agent assigned or our SR replied to, but when it finally did, a notice came in the mail telling us nothing other than "it's being worked on", but.. it did actually get worked on and completed within a week or two of the SR getting assigned

That would be reasonable to put SR about your EAD. It is not clear if that works, but at least it is something you can do.

My case is also ready to be scheduled since June :(

It's been really slow this year - my husband just had his EAD approved last week with a May 15 PD, no rejections or RFE's, and we haven't actually received the card yet.  Our AOS status has also been on ready to be scheduled since June.

We filed service requests and called tier 2 officers as often as we could.  but it was incredibly frustrating and they often can't help you or give you any information.  We eventually got our Congresswoman involved, which is what I think was the final nudge we needed to get approval.  I think we made ourselves (and our Congresswoman) enough of a nuisance that they finally moved our file to the top of the pile or something.

I know it can be really frustrating, so good luck!

Thanks for the help, guys. I did file a SR yesterday. I didn't really think I'd have to do either of those things, since up until a few days ago, following the VJ processing times, it seemed like albeit very slow, things were still moving and I was going to get my approval at the very last moment possible. But since it is now showing NOA dates way past mine, I believe it's time to try and do something about it lol. I guess I should've just gone for the expedite EAD, I just didn't want to go through all the hassle of contacting a congressman, but oh well...

Hi friends, I went for a job interview yesterday and just this afternoon they called and offered me the job. When I mean a job, a befitting one that I never expected to secure. I am now waiting for offer letter from the company in order to alert USCIS. For those who expedited their EAD, pls guide me on how best I can go about having it submitted for expedite and action taken fast; do I need to request for tier 2 or speak with a customer service rep. Meanwhile, I submitted an SR for out of normal processing time, which has not yet been assigned to an officer. Thank you.

Congrats on the job offer! Maybe this thread would be helpful? Good luck! :)

I have heard many vj members tell surprising stories about either receiving their AOS approval letters or Interview letter; I have a mail on the way Associated with return receipt, sent to me since last week. For those who had usps informed delivery, were you able to see a mail like that coming from Texas with a return receipt and when received its either AOS approval letter or interview letter?
