A quick update on our I-485, I-131 and    I-765. We received an email dated Sept 2 saying the I-31 was approved and to wait 30 days before contacting USCIS if not received. We'll, 30 days later the card hasn't showed up in the mail 😠 I will call them tomorrow to see what's going on. BTW, the status never changed to "Card being produced", although this is a common occurrence for many people, no need to be surprised. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Goodmorning to you all. I have a question pls. for those whose  I-485 case status was ready to be scheduled for interview before you request SR for EAD, did your I-485 date change but still remain on ready to be scheduled?

Yes, it did for me but I have no idea idea why. I thought it was because I moved and changed my address with uscis but it might have been a coincidence. It happened more than a month before it hot my EAD though.

Did you call them after you did your SR? Can you remember how long you stayed from your PD day before you did an SR online and how long afterwards before you called and had your EAD approved?

I did and they weren't really helpful. You can do an SR 75 days after your priority date, not sure if it will help though. I think I was at day 90 or something when I did it and you can see on my timeline when the EAD was approved but I'm not sure if all the calling helped. I'd advise you to keep calling, it won't hurt.

Thanks for letting me know, this gives me some hope. I ended up calling a second time today and this time they decided to open a new SR for card not received. Hopefully, this will keep things moving and get the card shortly, fingers crossed.

Have you tried contacting your local congressman/congresswoman regarding your case? They may be able to help. They have staff members called constituent liaisons who help out people living in their area. We contacted ours for help with expediting my husband's EAD due to severe financial loss and we got it within a couple weeks. They may be able to do something for you with speeding up your case.

Thanks for this advice. Will discuss it with my husband and take it from there. Will keep you posted.

We got two I-797's in the mail today confirming that his EAD and AP have been approved!  We're a little worried because both envelopes were open when we received them, and there was a weird tear on the envelopes.  We're not sure whether the envelopes didn't adhere properly and therefore weren't sealed, or whether someone tried to tear into the envelopes.  I'm really hoping this doesn't mean his EAD/AP combo card will get stolen.  Hopefully I'm just being paranoid.

Both my EAD and the GC came in a priority envelope from USPS, not the regular USCIS envelope. The first one was delivered to my door, the second one was left in my mailbox.

Hope this helps.

Are there any other early May filers, AOS from K1, that are still on Fingerprint Fee Received and case at Missouri NBC like us?

It's been 5 months no update on GC application - we did get my wife's EAD/AP combo card about a month ago though.

My wife is K1 to AOS, filed May 3 (fingerprint fee update is from May 9), and we are in New York (queens area).

best I can tell is we might be one of those who has interview waived but it will take 6-9 months to get GC

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:
