Just checked USCIS and it shows my wife's card is being produced.  It only states that on the work authorization number and has not updated the travel number.  I should receive a combo card correct?

How long after YOUR approval did your wife receive approval? I received approval notice on Friday. Hoping something for wife's case soon as we need that for her job.

Green card interview has been scheduled as of this morning!!:D
Scheduled for Oct 19th
Work permit was received last week
We filed May 2nd and had an RFE that we used 5 days to respond to

slightly concerned that the appointment letter will request a health packet which we don't have and never sent in, due to it being kept at POE.

USCIS updated their processing times. I'm really surprised that NBC only moved up the I-765 by 10 days or so.

It is frustrating !!

And they ask people not  to take employment without authorization !?

Eventually people will work illegally to cover their expenses !

Absolutely second that sentiment!

The trouble is (and this is where the Tier 2 got attitude with me when I asked that very question), they send the cases to other offices to ease the workload. Funny thing is they just dump MORE work on already overloaded offices, like Lee's Summit MO for example, which is where my paperwork is at.

Check your email response to the service request for a sending address to see which office it is at  - that's how I found out. Then I went by somebody who's case was at the Kansas City office and how long theirs took. 127 days. So we are at 122 days today and hoping it is a case of any day now.

It is incredibly frustrating seeing people who applied in JULY getting approvals but it is literally pot luck as to which office your paperwork is at.

I saw somebody get an approval after 104 days and I still felt deflated. It's just unreasonable and unfair.

You and I have the same filing dates. I was approved last week and I got my card in the mail today. I had a weird RFE in June asking for a birth certificate that they somehow lost, and that didn´t slow my progress when I thought it was going to. We never called to get a srvice request, and had a nice surprise last week when we were approved. My case is in Lee's Summit too. You will get the response you are expecting very soon, they must be approving it these next few days.
