A lot of things have changed in uscis. In 2010, after the finger prints you would get work permits etc, after 2 weeks and in 4 months you would get an interview. Now, it takes months to get work permit. A lot of things have changed with Donald Trumps presidency and more changes are coming. Things gonna get worst with immigration.

I am very happy to announce that we got our I-765 and I-131 approved on 8th September. I got the mail and text notifications today. I hope that everyone will get their work permit and advance parole as soon as possible.

Very happy to say that our third SR was assigned for processing today (the first two still have not been assigned for processing), the inquiry was completed, and they sent a response!

Very glad we got some momentum on this and hoping this means he'll get his EAD soon!!!

We only got notification that a response to the SR had been sent, nothing about the card going into production yet.

Hopefully soon!  Now that we know a tier 2 can give us this info, we might try calling in a few days to check.

I submitted a service requested yesterday to expedite my EAD. Today I received an email asking me to fax my job offer. I faxed the documents today itself.

My case history shows the same results with the same dates as yours September 9, 2017

Hi Rali,

I think we have similar situation. I just got a job offer and they asked me to start on 11/6. I just had my biometrics done on September 7. I am hesitating if I should submit expedite request this week for my EAD  - I'm not sure if I should wait after the full 75 days. When does your job start? Do you know by chance how long it will take for them to assign your request to an officer?

Please keep us updated about the progress of request. Wish you good luck!

You don't have to wait 75 days to expedite based on a job offer. I know this because my expedite SR was 17 days after filing my AOS package.

My job starts Oct 2. My request was, surprisingly, assigned to an officer the very next day.

"New Card Is Being Produced" - Finally after 112 days! Thank you God, and VJ members! :)

Any idea how long does it take for the card to be produced and delivered? The email said it should reach in 30 days, but I'm assuming its a standard cut off time.

Congrats!  It took about a week plus or minus a day for us (I think plus one day)

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:
