All I am thinking is that its 99 days already, and they haven't even assigned my SR yet. No news after biometrics.

I will try for the Tier-2 route. Thank you.

Both of my SR haven't been assigned yet, though the dates they were supposed to are today and tomorrow (

Seriously, it seems like never ending...Did you hear anything from them today (i.e. by day end)?

Mine weren't gotten around to until two days past the date they said they'd answer by. I'm guessing you're pretty close to getting them assigned.

My case was recieved on May 15th and still nothing, But we have had a few issues with our case. First, the NOA for the AOS had my name wrong and after submitting an application to change it, it was done just after my biometrics appointment in June 22nd.

Then we recieved a weird RFE also in June that said they recieved the proper translation of my birth certificate, but not the certified copy of the original (we are very sure we checked all the paperwork before sending it and I am sure it was there), we responded anyway but it took us a few weeks to get yet another certified copy of my birth certificate and we sent it this month. Online my status for AOS right now says the response was recieved on August 15th, and for the advance parole and work permit hasn´t changed from "On may 15th your aplication was recieved".

I feel this is taking too long and it is getting even longer for stupid mistakes that are not even my fault. Anyway, I cant wait to drive and travel to see my niece and have the freedom to look for a job.

Hi Ihazleton,

I hope you have better luck than me...121 days no rfe, 2 srs...my status remains " your case was received on May 2".

Wow, that is long. I wish you the best

We have the same NOA dates.. My biometrics was June 7th. I have put in two SRs so far. They say RFEs pause the clock so if it took you a few weeks to get the info back to them (even though that wasn't your fault) the clock would have stopped when they sent the RFE. If you were on 60 days and took 14 to get the info back, you would still be on 60 by the time they got what they needed. Then the clock starts again from whatever day you were on when they requested the info. They probably consider you having not hit 90 days yet.

It's infuriating I know, but it seems they will do anything to give themselves more time..

We are on day 108 and still waiting.

I received my EAD card yesterday but oddly enough no word on the AP yet. I wonder how that will play out.

Is there not anything at the bottom that says it's a combo card?

Check the bottom of your EAD card, if it says something like "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole", then it serves as your EAD and AP card - we never got any online update about AP either, just a mail and it shows that on our card.

Citizenship process complete!  First a J1 work/travel Visa visitor from Philippines to Texas where we met each other, then back to Philippines.  Ultimately, immigrated here via a K1 Marriage-based petition in 2016, AOS started in 2017, completed in 2018, ROC started/completed in 2020, N-400/Citzenship granted in 2022 - timeline link below:

Wow, amazing time! So happy for you.

Was there a particular reason it went so fast, or just good luck?
