Fargo North Dakota N-400 processing??

Evening,

I am new to this forum, and not even sure if I am in the right place.  But here I go.

I got my receipt for my N-400 application, starting with IOE, with receipt date of 8/26/2016.  Did my biometrics 9/15/2016.  Since then, nothing has happened.  It looks like the St. Paul is working on applications from April 2016, as of February 2016, based on their processing timeline which for some reason is not being updated.

But here is the questions.  I live in ND and it appears that, at least some, are having their interviews at the USCIS Application Support Center in Fargo.  But when you ask the National Customer Service Center, they say that can't be the case, "Support Centers" do not perform interviews, and my office is the St. Paul.  So which is it?  And does Fargo have their own "back-log" tracker?  And is it true that ND only has a couple of oath ceremonies a year, and you do not have an option where you go?

I hope some of you who have already gone through this maze can shed some light on this.

Best regards,

Emil

Application support centers are where they take biometrics, and field offices are where interviews takes place. Your interview will take place at the St Paul, MN field office. Unfortunately, it is the slowest field office in the whole nation. Don't rely on the dates posted on the USCIS website, they come from behind. You should identify other St. Paul MN filers in this forum and follow their timelines. Few of them are posting their journey here.
