Good day all,

I was just wondering who recently went back to the Philippines? I'm going back there this May and I've booked my ticket from CheapOair. My ticket is set for American airline and Philippine airline.

My question, how many allowed checked in baggage for both American airline and Philippine airline? is it free? I also was wondering if I can carry 1 luggage and 1 tiny purse at the same time for carry on?

Any inputs will be very much appreciated. I know I have to call the airlines but wanted to check on here first just in case somebody who had the same experience.

Thank you in advanced all.

Generally as soon as you booked the ticket it should have informed you of the baggage amount allowed through the site.....

Generally 1 checked is always free for international and you can take a small carry on and a purse/laptop bag.

Some airlines though will allow 2 checked bags as long as they don't go over a certain weight limit like 50lbs each. You may want to check each airlines web site to see what they allow.

generally, checked in luggage is free for international flights , i believe the general limit is 50lbs. the amount of allowed checked in luggage varies depend on the airline, you can easily check by Googling. for carry on, my family flies back to our home country, they're allowed to bring a small carry on luggage and a backpack or purse. you can check online on the airline website and in your itinerary as well. when you weight luggage, leave out a gap too. dont come to close to the limit because scale varies. the limit is 50lbs, go up to 47lbs is ideal.
