approved k1 visa, not sure if son can come to USA

hi there.

glad to report that my fiance and her son were accepted for the k1 visa.  they have their visa's on hand and just waiting there arrival.  Our issue is that my fiance is having a hard time getting a letter of permission from the child's father in order to leave the country. He will turn 15 in a couple of weeks. while she prefers her child to come with her to the USA, she knows that her child will be in good hands with the father. 

my question is, if she is unable to bring her child and travels alone to the US, will the point of entry give her and issues as to why her child is not with her since the k1 visa process involved them both.  Will coming alone cause her to be denied entry to the US.   thanks for your help

No problem. He just needs to come before the visa expires so that you or your future wife won't have to petition him and go through the paperwork again.

so POE agent won't deny her entry because her son is not present?

does she bring the sealed for of his with her, or leave it behind with the child

Your fiance will have no issues. Leave his package somewhere safe. 

 

That is weird they granted him a visa. They don't give children a visa unless they have proof the child can leave the country.
