I'm naturalize American citizen I'm married in the Philippines but got divorced here in Las Vegas I filled for my fiancé k-1and he got interviewed yesterday they ask for my cenomar since my fiancé don't have my cenomar only divorce decree is there's a way to get a cenomar even I'm only divorce here at the states?they took my fiancé passport they said that only my cenomar is missing that we have to give them I don't understand why they need my cenomar since they know I still married in PI.pls help me analyze this thing.

Ah the Philippines. Because you married in the Philippines I believe you need to divorce or get annulled officially in the Philippines also. 

 

They tend to make it complex I have read many times.

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

You can order your CENOMAR online (PSA will issue a CEMAR - marriage certificate) and should be able to have it delivered to the embassy.   https://nsohelpline.ph/

 

It is no issue that you are still shown as married in the Philippines, you provided your divorce decree so all is good with USEM in that regard, once they have the CENOMAR things should move quickly.

 

CFO has not been an issue on this either.
