Hey everyone!

My fiancé and I are now in the last stage of our K1 visa process. I have my interview next week and my fiancé is just about to send over all the documents I need for the interview. He is now filling out the I-134 Affidavit of support, and gathering the documents he needs.

What we wonder about is if the Letter of Employment needs to be signed in black inc and whether or not I need the original one, or if it's enough with a copy of it? He just received an email from his agency with the letter, so it's not an original signature. Is this ok?

You're interviewing in Sweden? If so, you'll be fine. It's exactly what I brought as well.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Everything?

My passport

Ds160 confirmation page

4 US style passport photos

My birth certificate (multilingual version)

My police certificate (US Visa type)

I134 from my husband (then fiance) along with tax return + w2 for most recent year, letter of employment and 4 recent paystubs

Relationship evidence which included evidence of our meetings between filing and interview, pictures and chat logs from Skype and BBM

I also had an updated letter of intent to marry, but they didn't ask for it.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Thank you so much! Did your birth certificate include the date of birth of your parents? The checklist specifies that it needs to include that, but the department who issues it (in Norway) said they don't include that on the birth certificate.

No, it's not possible to get the DoB of the parents on any Norwegian BC. It was no problem at all at the interview (or any time later in the US).

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

I forget, but something like that. If you can get the tax transcript (from IRS), that's much better.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
