"Bank statement showing present balance of applicant's account, date account was opened, the number and amount of deposits and withdrawals during the past 12 months, and the average balance during the year."

I've managed to obtain the first two requirements in a statement from my bank but they've told me they can't provide the other information. They've said that if I work out the average balance and amount of transactions myself, they'll stamp it for me. Quite a lazy response to the request methinks. I'm not sure if a document created by me but stamped by the bank would be sufficient for the embassy. Has anyone else had the same problem with their bank and ended up just providing bank statements (which is what I'm think of doing)?

not sure.

My bank had no problem printing deposits and withdrawls. They printed, I highlighted, they stamped and signed it.

vamos,

What documents do you have that would allow you to calculate your average balance and transactions information? Do the calculation and attach those documents as the supporting evidence.

I guess a lot also has to do with your situation and/or country. I my case, I only provided the bank statements. I did not need all the rest of the things you are being asked to provide.

If you are able to file the I-864 EZ.......it does make the requirements easier. (not sure if you were familiar with the different I-864 forms or not....or if you're eligible)

I just submitted 3 bank statements (from different banks)...................2 pay stubs.....................and tax returns (although, I submitted 3 years worth of tax returns, it was not necessary to do so.......one would have been enough. But since I had them already, I sent them all in.)

My bank told me the same thing, but didn't offer to stamp anything for me. I did a spreadsheet of income and outgoings with a running balance.

However at the interview, they didn't even ask to see it. Just flicked through my bank statements.

Good luck
