Hello wonderful community.

Thanks again for being here for people who just have the most frustrating times with legal immigration.

Anywho here's my question. Where the heck is the NOA2? We got our accepted petition via email and text on 01-16-17. It's been well over 75 days. About 105 days to be exact if im not mistaken. Well over 3 months. Is there some kind of delay at the California Service Center? Or are we still just supposed to play the 'waiting game' for now?

Yes, average processing time has gone up to around 90 days, but could be more or less. There were a lot of late 2016 and early 2017 petitions, so the CSC is a bit behind on timing compared to historical timelines found on this site. At this point it is the 'waiting game' as you said.

If you are going through the visa process and will be interviewing in Casablanca, Morocco, join us over at the

The standard processing time is within five months. That a lot of people got adjudicated within three is never a guarantee that you will, too. Underlying reasons can be longer background checks for example.

Like everyone said...It's hard, but hang in there it will come soon!.  Mine took 94 days from NOA1 to NOA2 and we filed last May.  I know it sucks, but on the bright side USCIS is preparing you for even longer wait periods for the future.  The process is so stressful, mostly because of the unknown, but I can also tell you that in the future you will still be waiting on something.  Someone on VJ once said something like...Good luck on your Journey.  I laughed when I read it, but now I understand.  It truly is a journey that needs to be filled with more patience and trials than you can ever imagine.  If it were easy it wouldn't be a journey after all.  LOL

Hang in there my friend.  Part one will be over soon, then on to the next.
