I recently submitted the I129F application for my fiance in Haiti. I read a few post were people said the letter of intent was typed and the signature was in ink. My question is does it matter if the letter was typed or handwritten? Also can some on please tell me steps or process from start to finish for the k1 visa and about how long does the process take. thanks in advance.

To my knowledge it can be either typed of hand written. Typing generally is neater of course and easy to read.

Follow the guides below. Each case differs and depends on if you get RFE, and other factors. Generally expect 5-8 months.....

Thank you so much Ben and Zian.

11/21/2016 met online

01/28/2017 I visited him in Haiti

03/06/17 His visitor visa got denied

03/18/2017 I visited him in Haiti again for his birthday (we got engaged)

04/01/17 Mailed I129F application

04/06/17 Application was recevied by uscis and rejected due to me filing on expired I129F form

04/20/17 Correct error (updated form 4/10/17) and mail

04/24/17 USPS tracking show delivered and signed for..

btw I sent in over 20 pics of us together from both trips, my passport pages, screenshots of conversations we had over the months (which includes but was not limited to us talking about plans to have children, plans on me going back to school when he comes, our likes and dislikes, our past relationships, out plan to have a traditional wedding and of course our undying love for each other), letter of intent to marry from both of us, western union transfer, airline tickets receipts, my divorce decree from previous marriage. I hope I have provided enough evidence of our relationship if not I don't know what else to provide. I would cry my heart out. If the K1 is denied for any reason the next thing to do would be to get married????? will they return the $535?

Question what is

NOA 1 and 2

Can you tell me what I-129F version you initially sent that was rejected please? Was it the 12/23/2016 version that they are saying can still be accepted until 6/9/2017, or was it an older version? Thank you!
