Today is officially 180 days from when case was returned from embassy. Still no response from USCIS.  I sent a case inquiry and was instructed to wait another 14 days. In a few months it will be one year since my spouse interview. Can someone please provide suggestions on what steps to take from this point. Thanks.

Assuming you got a denial at the original interview?

With CR-1, I assume you will either get an attempt to reaffirm the petition or they will simply tell you the petition is expired and you need to refile from the beginning again...

Whatever the "issue" was to cause the denial originally though needs to be addressed or it may just come back up again.

From what I've read on VisaJourney people have waited upwards of 18-20 months prior to receiving a NOIR/NOID. There's not much you can do but wait. If you haven't already you can try and get your senator or congressperson to make an inquiry on your behalf. Filing a new petition is not recommended. You need to find out why your original petition was rejected and try to rebut that.

Approved spousal visa petitions never expire, the OP will either receive an NOIR (Notice of Intent to Revoke) at some point or they will receive a notice that the original approval has simply been reaffirmed with no further items needed from the OP.  The most likely scenario is the former.

I am sorry I don't have any advice for  the situation, I would be more interested to find out why the case was put in AP, and to learn more about the continued wait with no resolution your are experiencing. Complete disservice to you and your family

Good day everyone.  Yes, I finally heard from uscis. I submitted my response to Noir however was still revoked. I am now in the process of filing an appeal with the evidence. Don't know how long the wait will be.
