We have spent a month getting this paperwork and package ready, we are sending it this week to find out there's a NEW i-29F FORM?!?!? do we have to re-do the form or can we send the previous one. 

USCIS says they are accepting old ones until June 6th .. so if we send it this week.. surely it will be ok?!?!? 

 

Stressed and worried.

you know what these things are like you literally think of every reason it's going to get sent back and get worked up.

As long as USCIS is still accepting the older form you're fine.

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Sure the deadline is some time away but I would fill out the new form. Just for the peace of mind at least. It is not going to take that long and it is pointless to deal with the stress of waiting to see if you will get a RFE and potentially delaying the process.

It took me two weeks to put together my AOS package, all the forms and supporting documents, and four days of it was waiting for new ink cartridges for my printer.

If it really takes you one month to fill out one form, and you want to send in the documents as soon as possible, then do send the old form. RFE processing takes 3-4 weeks at least as well, and I think there is a only small chance you would get one. It's your call. I just said it would be worth it to me for the peace of mind. Waiting is stressful as it is.
