If my annual income easily meets the support requirements, how much documentation of other financial resources do I have to submit along with the I-134?

You should still provide all the supporting evidence whether you are borderline or easily over the income requirements. The CO doesn't know you personally...all he has to go on is the evidence presented to him. That said, you can choose to not provide the assets if you are certain your income will be convincing enough, so things like the bank letter(s) won't be needed in that case.

• Completed I-134
• Letter from your employer
• Pay stubs (I went back 6 months, which may be overkill but it won't hurt)
• Most recent tax transcript (from the IRS) OR tax return + W2(s) to support it
  • You will need 3 years for the I-864 for AOS, so why not just get them all now?

Technically the tax transcripts are only necessary for self employment, but it's not uncommon for them to be requested so having them on-hand avoids an unnecessary 221g awaiting documents.

Thanks.  I'm retired so I'm thinking my 1099R and tax return will establish my annual income (pension) and I can supply screenshots from the internet showing what I have in my retirement account, bank account, value of house etc...
