Hi, this is my first time here and I searched for answers here but no avail.

So here goes.

Would I need a medical certificate if I have small stitch on my thigh? It's not that big, but I'm concerned whether I need a medical certificate or not. My medical is on Monday. Thanks for answering.

You have stitches from an injury or ???   If an injury not an issue ... SLEC does watch for other issues.   Shouldn't need a certificate.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

Yeah injury, I was picking up mangoes while on the tree and slipped. Had a small opening, but I went to the hospital and get it stitched just in case.

I wouldn't think there would be issue with that, doctor shouldn't have a problem recognizing it as an injury.

Yeah, it's been awhile that I have already a keloid scar on it.

You should be fine because the vast majority of scars they are looking for are in places where people trying to commit suicide would make them.

I do remember several years back where someone had a scar on like her forearm that got extra scrutiny but nothing ever came of it. If they ask just explain it and you should be fine.

i dont think you have to worry about it unless if the scar is in your wrist.

I got a huge scar in my leg that i got as a kid. It had about 4 stitches.  On my medical exam, the doctor asked me if i got scars. I told her i got one in my leg. She quickly look at it and asked how I got it. I explained to her I got an accident when I was a kid. She didnt ask further and she didnt ask for any medical certification.

What about scars from muffler. I also had a medium sized scar mark burn from a motorcycle muffler.

Hopefully everything goes good tomorrow. Wish me luck :)

I doubt you will have any issues.  Doctors will be looking for "suicide" scars or "cutting" scars.  They may ask about yours but both are reasonable and not that unusual.  Even I have a scar from a muffler burn ;)

Really doubt you will have any issues.  It's best to "let sleeping dogs lie" and not bring it up during your exam. Let the Technician/Doctor ask the questions and you reply honestly otherwise you will open additional inquire's that will delay you.

Everything went smooth during my medical exam. They told me to come back tomorrow. What are the chances I'll pass or fail?

Chances of passing, at this moment  50/50.  ;)

Tomorrow it will be head to vaccinations or SPUTUM.

I had a pre medical three days before my medical exam here at St. Luke's, and it was all good. Hopefully it's good here too
