Don't want to be mean, but may be someone can help me: why Vermont Centre is faster then others?

- Different people

- Different management

- less states to serve

- or something else?

I can't find answer anywhere here. :(

Thank you ;)

VSC just processes it's own states whereas CSC processes it's own cases plus those for NSC and TSC.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

OK, I understand that, but why they can't hire more people? or why CSC can't do TSC only , for example, and VSC to take NSC petitions? I guess it is simple math… :D

For me it wouldn't make any difference to know WHY Vermont is faster. Cause I know that I can't file there.

Just try to be patient and hang in there.

For me it makes big difference... :( as my Fiance was a resident of MA just before we send our petition to TSC he moved down to FL and changed his residency.... we thought that it will take the same time, but now looking that VSC approves in few weeks :crying: big mistake

I'm thinking regional demographics. It seems there's more immigrants arriving through the southern states than from the northern states. Why CSC has to take all that on, who knows?! To all of us going through CSC, it doesn't make any sense why it takes up 3-4 months for an approval and only 3-4 weeks for approval from VSC. It's obvious something is wrong and the process is seriously unbalanced.

This question and the answer reminds me of that old commercial from the 70s about Tootsie Pops.

"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?

The world may never know......."

Well, I'm compiling data on this egregious discrepancy and forwarding it on to my Senator. It may not do any good, but it makes no sense for California to take on nearly 3 times the case load. From the data I've gathered so far, even though they have 3 times the case load, it takes them quadruple the amount of time to process them. And, in my case, and others marrying Canadians, the same thing happens at the Department of State level, as Montreal serves a higher population, as well, and is much slower than the consulate in Vancouver. In one recent report from the Canadian forum, someone called the Montreal Consulate and was told that it would take 8-12 months to schedule an interview.

:o

This is the reason I had a chuckle when the guy on the phone at the State Dept. told me that London was 'slow' to schedule interviews.

Vermont is a smaller state, with small buildings and small employees . California is a large state with big buildings and small employees. My guess is the smaller the employees, the more room to store petitions.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
